Want a teaching platform under your own name? A ready platform for private and online tutors
Yes, you can have a ready teaching platform under your own name without writing code. Snatr gives you a website and a platform in your name, where you sell recorded courses and online groups by the month or by the session. Students pay in Egyptian pounds and your full price reaches you. Uploaded video is encrypted against download tools, with exams and parent follow-up built in. Snatr is made for tutors in Egypt and starts at 999 EGP a month.
Your platform lives on a site in your name, and your own domain comes with the Pro plan.
Sell recorded courses, and online groups by monthly subscription or by the session.
Students pay online in EGP, and your full price reaches you with no commission taken from it.
Uploaded video is encrypted against download tools, and each student is signed in on one device at a time.
No setup fee, no hosting and no domain to buy. Plans start at 999 EGP a month.
How to start, in six steps
1
Create your account and name your platform
You sign up with your name and your platform's name, and your site's link is made from it. You can change the link later from the dashboard, but the old one stops working the moment you do, so choose it carefully.
2
Pick a plan or start the trial
Choose the plan that fits the students you have today. The free trial does not start at sign-up; it starts when you press the trial button at the payment step.
3
Pick a design and make it yours
There are 30 ready designs for different subjects and levels, and the first two are free. Click any part of the page to change its text, font, colours and images, add your logo, and write the Arabic and English text separately.
4
Add stages, courses and groups
Create your school stages, and inside each one, courses split into units and lessons, or online groups with their timetable. Each lesson is either a video you upload or a YouTube link.
5
Set prices and ways to sell
Give each course or group a price, and a discounted price if you like. You can also create discount coupons, and prepaid cards with codes that you sell for cash at your centre or in bookshops.
6
Send your link to your students
Students sign up on your platform, pay online or type in the code they bought, and the course or group opens for them on its own.
What does a platform under your name mean?
It means students come to your platform, not to a page inside a marketplace where other teachers compete with you. The name, logo, colours, prices and students are yours, and you control them from your dashboard.
Your platform runs on a site in your name. On the Pro plan, once the subscription is paid, you can request your own domain like mybrand.com: the Snatr team buys and connects it, the first year is free with the plan, and the old link redirects to it.
Choose from 30 ready designs and change any part by clicking on it, with no code.
Your site can be in Arabic, in English, or both with a language switch, and priced in EGP, USD or SAR.
You write your own student testimonials, branch addresses and FAQs; anything left empty is hidden.
You set your site's title, description and keywords in Arabic and English, and every teacher's site has its own sitemap so search engines can find its pages.
A free WhatsApp button for your site is in the tools store.
What can you sell? Courses, and groups by the month or the session
Egyptian tutors usually sell in two ways: a recorded course bought once, or a running group paid for every month or every session. Snatr does both.
A recorded course is split into units and lessons, with an Arabic and English title, a cover image, a price and a discounted price, and it can stay a draft until it is ready.
One lesson can be a free preview shown on the course page before anyone buys.
Lessons can unlock in order: the next one opens when the student has watched 90% of the video or submitted the lesson's exam, and the server checks it.
An online group is sold by monthly subscription (30 days per month) or by the session, with a timetable, a status and a roster.
Everything is organised into school stages, so each stage's students find their courses and groups easily.
You follow each student: which lessons they watched, their grades and attendance, with a report you can export as CSV.
How do students pay, and how does the money reach you?
Students pay online in EGP on your platform through the Fawaterak payment gateway, and the course or group opens for them automatically after payment. You do not have to check every transfer by hand.
Payment methods come from the gateway, such as cards (Visa and Mastercard), Fawry and Aman pay-later codes valid for 24 hours, and mobile wallets like Vodafone Cash.
Your full price reaches you. Any commission on online payments is added on top for the student, never deducted from you, and Snatr bears the gateway fee.
Money goes into your wallet on Snatr and becomes withdrawable after a holding period (currently 7 days), to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or a bank account. The minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.
A student who paid cash at your centre is enrolled by hand, with no commission.
You see every payment attempt, and the students who signed up but did not buy, so you can follow up with them.
These are what any tutor selling to students in Egypt asks about, and they are all inside Snatr with no add-on.
Prepaid cards with codes: you print them and sell them for cash at your centre or in bookshops. A code either opens a specific course or group for a number of months or sessions, or adds credit to the student's balance on your site. The student types the code into their account.
Discount coupons by percentage or fixed amount, for the whole site, a course, a group or a stage, with a usage limit or unlimited, and once per student.
Printable completion certificates with a QR code that opens a verification page on your site.
You choose the sign-up form fields: governorate, city, stage, ID photo and parent's phone. Students sign in with their phone number or email.
Will my videos leak?
Video you upload to Snatr is encrypted, and the decryption key goes to the browser's decryption module, never to the page. That is why download extensions, paste-the-link sites and tools like yt-dlp end up with useless files.
A moving watermark shows the student's name, a short code and your logo, so a student who knows their name will show if they film the screen thinks twice before posting it. It deters; it is not proof, and someone technical can remove it. And each student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out, so sharing an account stops working.
What encryption does not stop: screen recording, or filming the screen with another phone. On iPhone and iPad the video plays from a copy encrypted in a simpler way; download tools fail there too, but it is weaker against a technical person. YouTube-link lessons are not protected.
You can set exams and short quizzes that mark themselves, and parents follow their child from a portal on your site.
Question types: true or false, single or multiple choice, and essay. Up to 200 questions per exam, up to 10 options per question, and an image per question.
Marking happens on the server, and the answer key never reaches the student's browser. The exam timer runs on the server too, not only on the student's screen.
You set the number of attempts, and essay answers in group exams are marked by hand with a mark and a comment per question.
Parents sign in on a page of your site and can follow several children from one account. They see centre attendance, and grades and payments once the child has an online account.
Yes, on the Pro plan only. Live classes run inside your platform with no Zoom or Meet, and students watch in 720p or 360p.
A class can start from 5 minutes before its time up to 2 hours after. There is no go-live-now button for an unscheduled class, but you can schedule an extra one.
Chat with three modes, raised hands, giving a student the microphone and taking it back, removing a student and closing joining.
Attendance records itself: present, or late if the student joined 10 or more minutes after the start.
Recording is optional: you tick the record option before going live, and the recording is saved encrypted in the group's lessons and counts against your storage.
The live picture itself is not encrypted; it carries your logo and a short code, and screen recording works.
It is a monthly subscription with no setup fee, no hosting and no domain to buy. Current plans: Starter at 999 EGP a month for up to 100 students; Basic at 1,999 EGP a month for up to 200 students; Pro at 2,999 EGP a month for up to 400 students.
Every feature is in every plan except two that are on the Pro plan only: live classes and your own domain. Plans differ in students, storage and the price of an extra student.
If you go over your plan, new students still register; we do not close sign-ups. Each extra student is charged once when added, at your plan's extra-student price, not every month, from your wallet. You get a warning at 80% and 95% of the limit.
Snatr is not a marketplace that brings you students. Students come from you: your pages, your centre and the students you already teach.
There is no app in the app stores, for teachers or students. The platform runs in the phone or computer browser.
Screen recording and filming the screen with another phone are not blocked. Encryption stops downloading, and the watermark deters but is not proof: someone technical can remove it.
There are no instalments for students, and no WhatsApp or SMS messages to parents. Absence alerts appear inside the parent portal only.
Live classes and your own domain are on the Pro plan only.
There is no free-forever plan, but there is a 7-day trial with no card.
Tutors' questions about the platform
Can I make a teaching platform under my name without knowing how to code?
Yes. On Snatr you sign up, pick a design and edit it by clicking on any part, and upload your lessons from the dashboard. No code, hosting or domain needed.
Does Snatr take a cut of my students' payments?
No, your full price reaches you. Any commission on online payments is added on top for the student, and Snatr bears the gateway fee.
Can students pay with Vodafone Cash or Fawry?
Yes. Payments go through Fawaterak, with methods such as cards, Fawry and Aman codes, and wallets like Vodafone Cash. You can also sell prepaid code cards for cash.
Can I sell a single session instead of a whole course?
Yes. Online groups are sold by the session or by monthly subscription, and recorded courses are bought once.
Can a student share their account with a friend?
Each student is signed in on one device at a time. If a friend signs in with the same account on another device, the first student is signed out, so sharing stops working.
Is there a mobile app under my name?
No. Snatr has no app in the stores, and the platform runs in the phone browser for you, your students and parents.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: 7 days, without entering any card details. The trial starts when you press the trial button at the payment step, not at sign-up.
If I go over my plan's students, does the platform shut down?
No. Students still register, and each extra student is charged once at your plan's extra-student price, from your wallet.
