Want to make a teaching website or an online teaching platform under your name? Here is what you need
To make a teaching website under your name you need four things: a name, content, a way for students to pay, and protection for your video. Snatr gives you all four ready: a website and platform in your name, set up in minutes with no code or hosting, payments in Egyptian pounds, and video encrypted against downloading. Snatr is made for tutors and centres in Egypt and starts at 999 EGP a month.
Signing up takes minutes; preparing your content takes as long as you need.
On Snatr you get the website and the platform together: a public page about you, and a platform where students learn and pay.
No setup fee, no hosting, no domain to buy and no code to write.
Plans start at 999 EGP a month, and every feature is in every plan except live classes and your own domain.
How to make your teaching website, step by step
1
Choose your site's name
Sign up with your name and your platform's name, and your site's link is made from it. Choose carefully: if you change it later, the old link stops working.
2
Pick a plan or start the trial
Choose the plan that fits your students. The free trial starts when you press its button at the payment step, not at sign-up, so take your time.
3
Choose your site's look
Pick one of 30 ready designs; the first two are free. Then click any part of the page to change its text, colours, font and images, and add your logo.
4
Write your public page
Add a short bio, your students' testimonials, your branch addresses if you have a centre, and your FAQs. Anything left empty is hidden.
5
Add your first course or group
Create the school stage and, inside it, a course split into units and lessons or an online group with its timetable, and set the price. Each lesson is either a video you upload or a YouTube link.
6
Share the link with your students
Post your site's link on your pages and groups. Students sign up and pay online or with a code, and the course opens for them on its own.
A teaching website or a teaching platform? What is the difference?
Many people say website when they mean a page that introduces the teacher, and platform when they mean the place where students watch lessons and take exams. They are two different things, and most teachers need both.
On Snatr you get both on the same site: the public page anyone can see, with your name, logo, courses and testimonials, and the platform students sign in to so they can watch, answer and pay.

A site in your name
What do you need to make a teaching website?
Four things. If one is missing, the site will not work as a source of income.
A name: one students remember, and a site online that carries it. On Snatr your site's link is made from your platform's name, and on the Pro plan you can request your own domain after a paid subscription, which our team buys and connects.
Content: recorded courses, online groups, or both. This is the part that takes time, and only you can make it.
A way to pay: on Snatr students pay in EGP through Fawaterak, with methods such as cards, Fawry and Aman codes and wallets like Vodafone Cash, or with a prepaid card bought for cash.
Protection: uploaded video is encrypted against download tools, carries a watermark with the student's name, and each student is signed in on one device at a time.
How many ways are there? A developer, WordPress or a ready platform
Three common routes, each with its place. This table is a summary; the details are in the build-or-buy guide.
On Snatr it is a monthly subscription with no setup fee, no hosting and no domain to buy. Current plans: Starter at 999 EGP a month for up to 100 students; Basic at 1,999 EGP a month for up to 200 students; Pro at 2,999 EGP a month for up to 400 students.
Plans differ in students, storage and the price of an extra student. If you grow, new students still register, and each extra student is charged once when added, at your plan's extra-student price, not every month.
Your own domain is on the Pro plan only, with the first year free with the plan. Your full price reaches you from each student; any commission on online payments is added on top for the student.
Signing up and setting up the site take minutes. What takes time is your content: filming lessons, ordering them and writing exams, and that depends on how ready you are.
If your videos are ready, uploading runs in the background: there is no file size limit, a video can run up to 6 hours at 720p and about 3 hours at 1080p, uploads resume where they stopped if the connection drops, and a progress bar follows you around the dashboard. New videos are compressed after upload so they take up less of your storage, with no quality drop you can see.
If you want to start before everything is ready, publish the first course and keep the rest as drafts until they are done.
Will the site really be under my name?
Yes. Students see your name, logo and colours, not another platform's name above yours.
A site in your name, and your own domain on the Pro plan, with the old link redirecting to it.
30 ready designs for different subjects and levels, and any part editable by clicking on it.
A site in Arabic, English or both with a language switch, priced in EGP, USD or SAR.
A free WhatsApp button for your site from the tools store.
Snatr gives you the tools; ranking itself depends on your content and your competition. You write your site's title, description and keywords in Arabic and English, set its favicon, and every teacher's site has its own sitemap so search engines can find its pages.
Nobody can guarantee you the first result. What actually helps: a clear name, well-written course pages, and students searching for you by name.
Once the site is live, what does a student do?
A student opens your link and signs up with their phone number or email, on a form whose fields you choose.
They buy the course or group online, or type in a prepaid card's code, and the content opens on its own.
Their account holds their courses, groups, exams, payments and notifications, plus a page to send you a support message.
If they forget their password, they reset it with a 6-digit code sent by email or WhatsApp.
And you see each student: what they watched, their grades and what they paid.
Worth knowing before you start
You change your site's look and content, not its code. If you need something built specially for you, a developer will suit you better.
There is no app in the app stores. The site runs in the phone or computer browser.
Snatr is not a marketplace that brings you students. The site is yours, and students come from you.
Your own domain is on the Pro plan only, and only after a paid subscription, not on the trial.
If your subscription ends without renewal, your site closes for students and parents, who see a message to contact you. No data is deleted.
There is no free-forever plan, but there is a 7-day trial with no card.
Questions about making a teaching website
I want a teaching website to sell my lessons. How do I make it and what does it cost?
Sign up on Snatr, pick a design, add your courses, groups and prices, and send the link to your students. It is a monthly subscription; current plans: Starter at 999 EGP a month for up to 100 students; Basic at 1,999 EGP a month for up to 200 students; Pro at 2,999 EGP a month for up to 400 students.
Do I need to code, or buy hosting and a domain?
No. Your site runs straight away in your name, hosting is included, and every change is made from the dashboard.
How many days until I can start?
Signing up and setting up the site take minutes. As soon as you upload and publish your first course, you can send the link to your students.
Can I have my own domain like mr-ahmed.com?
Yes, on the Pro plan after a paid subscription. You request it from the dashboard, the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free with the plan.
Should I build my site on WordPress or use a ready platform?
WordPress is flexible, but hosting, plugins, updates and connecting Egyptian payments are on you. A ready platform handles all that for a monthly fee, and you only change the look and content.
Can I make a teaching website for free?
Snatr is a paid subscription: There is no free-forever plan, but there is a 7-day trial with no card. Free options such as YouTube, Telegram groups and Google Classroom exist, but they are not built for selling lessons or protecting video.
Does the site work on phones?
Yes, in the phone browser for you, your students and parents, and the dashboard too. There is no app to install.
If my subscription ends, what happens to my site and students?
The site closes for students and parents, who see a message to contact you, until you renew. No data is deleted.
