What is the Mnasah platform, and how is it related to Tafra Tech?

Mnasah is an Egyptian learning management system (LMS) at mnasah.com. It builds you an online academy with your name, logo and colors, and says it is made for every kind of education institution, from nursery to university. Its Arabic name simply means "platform", so this page calls it "the Mnasah platform" or "Mnasah" to tell it apart from the ordinary word.

The same site, with the same copy, features and teacher and academy prices, exists under the name Tafra Tech at tafra-tech.com. The contact email on both sites is on the tafra-tech.com domain, and Mnasah's features page gives academy.tafra-tech.com as an example academy link. That is why this page treats them as one product.

Mnasah's strength is the number of tools it lists; its features page says there are more than 400. It has WhatsApp and SMS messages to parents, Android and iOS apps, top-up cards and a student wallet, and a book store with delivery. It also has certificates, coupons, a student forum and AI analysis of each student's performance.

The big difference is in the plans. Many of these tools are not on the first plan. According to the plan cards on 7 October 2026, attendance, branches and WhatsApp messages are on the Professional plan at 5,000 EGP a month. Supervisors and permissions start on the Growth plan at 2,500 EGP.

Snatr, at snatr.com, is also an Egyptian platform, but it was made for the teacher and their tutoring center from the start. QR card attendance, branches, the parent portal and assistants come with the first plan at 999 EGP. If you are comparing other platforms too, see all Snatr comparisons.

Mnasah pricing: does it start at 999 or at 3,000 EGP?

Mnasah's plan cards say 999 EGP a month for one teacher, as a limited-time launch price instead of 1,500. The pricing page heading says "starting from 3,000". All prices exclude 14% tax.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB, and an extra student costs 15 EGP.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB, and an extra student costs 10 EGP.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, an extra student costs 7 EGP, plus live classes and a custom domain.
  • Attendance, branches, parents and assistants are on all three plans.
  • Your price reaches you in full, and registration does not stop if your students exceed the plan.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • Starter: 999 EGP instead of 1,500 for a limited time, 100 students, one teacher, 5 GB.
  • Growth: 2,500 EGP, 300 students, 3 teachers, 20 GB, with supervisors and permissions.
  • Professional: 5,000 EGP, 600 students, 5 teachers, 50 GB, with attendance and WhatsApp.
  • Business: 8,000 EGP, 1,000 students, 10 teachers, 100 GB.
  • Prices exclude 14% tax, and if you pay a year in advance you pay the price of 10 months.

These are the "single teacher" prices on mnasah.com on 7 October 2026. The "online academy" category starts at 4,000 EGP a month, for 200 students and 10 teachers. There are add-ons at 1,000 EGP a month each, such as exam proctoring, the certificate designer and an extra 50 GB.

The figures do not agree on the same site. The pricing page heading and the home page say "starting from 3,000 EGP", and the cards say 999. The comparison table under the cards lists plans with different names, the first of which is for only 50 students.

The money-back guarantee is written as 14 days on the pricing page and 30 days in the terms. The Tafra Tech site has the same cards and the same heading, so the inconsistency is on both sites. So before you pay, ask Mnasah for the offer in writing: the plan, the number of students, the features and the price with tax.

I run a tutoring center: how much will I pay a month on Mnasah and on Snatr?

A center with 100 students pays 999 EGP a month on Snatr, including attendance, branches and parents. On Mnasah the cheapest plan with attendance and branches is Professional, at 5,700 EGP with tax.

In Snatr

  • 999 EGP for 100 students, including attendance, branches, the parent portal and assistants.
  • An extra student costs 15 EGP, and registration does not stop.
  • 50 GB for video from the first plan.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • Attendance and branches from the Professional plan: 5,000 EGP, plus 14% tax.
  • Professional has 600 students, 5 teachers and 50 GB, with WhatsApp and the store.
  • If you pay a year in advance: 50,000 EGP, about 4,750 EGP a month with tax.

Example: a center with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

Snatr leaves you about 4,700 EGP more a month

Mnasah's prices are from the "single teacher" cards on 7 October 2026, which state that they exclude 14% VAT. Professional is the cheapest plan with "branches, classes, schedules and attendance" according to the cards. The difference is 4,701 EGP a month, about 56,400 EGP a year. On Snatr the student pays the platform fee on top of the 300, so if you want them to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower.

1,000 students7,199 EGP (Pro plus 600 extra students)9,120 EGP (Business)

The gap narrows as your center grows, but stays in Snatr's favor. With 600 students, Snatr costs 4,399 EGP and Mnasah 5,700. With 1,000 students, Snatr costs 7,199 and Mnasah 9,120 EGP.

Mnasah's Professional plan has things Snatr does not, such as WhatsApp messages, the store and 5 teachers. If you need them, weigh what they are worth to you. If you need attendance, branches and parents, then with 100 students Snatr gives them to you for less than a fifth of the price.

On Snatr, a student who paid you cash at the center is enrolled in the course manually with no commission at all. See Snatr's pricing in detail.

Does Mnasah accept payment in EGP, Fawry and wallets?

Yes, according to its pages: Visa, Fawry and mobile wallets, through payment companies such as Paymob and Fawaterak. What is not written is whose account the money goes into, whether there is a commission, and how you withdraw it.

In Snatr

  • The student pays in EGP by card, with a Fawry code within 24 hours, or with a wallet such as Vodafone Cash.
  • You do not need an account with any payment company.
  • Your price reaches you in full, and the platform fee is added for the student on top of your price.
  • Money goes into your wallet and becomes available to withdraw after a holding period, currently 7 days.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or a bank; the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • Payment methods mentioned: Visa, Mastercard, Fawry, wallets and bank transfer.
  • Payment companies: Paymob, Fawaterak, Kashier, MyFatoorah and Tap.
  • A wallet for each student, and prepaid top-up cards from the first plan.
  • The commission and payment fees are not written in the pricing or the terms.
  • How you receive and withdraw your money is not written.

Mnasah's help center has a payments section that talks about "connecting payment gateways". So before you subscribe, ask them: will you need a merchant account in your own name with Paymob or another company? Who pays the payment fees? When and how does your money reach you?

On Snatr these answers are fixed. The student pays on your platform, the money goes into your Snatr wallet, and you withdraw it. A student who paid you cash at the center is enrolled in the course manually with no commission at all. You can also print top-up cards to sell for cash, and the student types the code in their account.

Protecting video from downloads and screen recording: Mnasah or Snatr?

Both say the video is protected from downloading. Snatr encrypts the video and has published a measurement of that protection, and says plainly that screen recording is not blocked. Mnasah writes "full DRM protection" and "protection against screen recording", without details.

In Snatr

  • Uploaded video is encrypted, and its key goes to the browser's decryption module, not to the page.
  • Downloader extensions, "paste your link and download" sites and yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A watermark with the student's name moves across the video.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
  • 50 GB for video on the first plan.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • The features page mentions "full DRM protection" and "protection against screen recording".
  • Video is served through Bunny Stream, VdoCipher, Vimeo or YouTube.
  • A limit on how many times a video can be watched, and control over the number of a student's devices.
  • A watermark with the student's name is not mentioned.
  • 5 GB on the first plan, and an extra 50 GB for 1,000 EGP a month.

DRM means encryption: the video opens only with a key that reaches the player. Mnasah's pages do not say which devices this protection works on, or on which plan. So ask them before you subscribe, and ask to test it on an Android phone and an iPhone.

The measurement on Snatr: without the key the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key it plays cleanly at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original.

On iPhone and iPad the video plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail there too. But the protection there is somewhat weaker against someone technically skilled. This protection is for the video you upload; a YouTube link in a lesson stays a regular YouTube video.

Screen recording is not blocked on Snatr, and neither is a phone filming the screen. The watermark deters, because the student's name shows on the recording, but it is not proof. Learn how video protection works on Snatr.

Live classes and exams: what is the difference between Mnasah and Snatr?

Snatr has live streaming from inside your platform on the Pro plan (2,999 EGP a month), with chat, raised hands and a mic for the student, and attendance is recorded automatically. Mnasah mentions "live streaming and online classes" without details. Both have exams and certificates.

In Snatr

  • You stream from inside your platform, without Zoom or Google Meet.
  • Chat and raised hands, and you can give a student the mic to speak in front of classmates.
  • Assistants can moderate the mics, the chat and who gets in.
  • Attendance in the class is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Exams grade themselves, the grade reaches the parent, and there is a completion certificate with a QR check.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • "Live streaming and online classes" are mentioned without details of what a class looks like.
  • The help center mentions Zoom integration.
  • A question bank, a different exam for each student, and matching, fill-in-the-blank and essay questions.
  • In-person exams at the branch, and assignments with PDF file upload.
  • Certificates, and AI analysis of each student's performance.

Mnasah lists a categorized question bank, a randomized exam for each student, and exam proctoring as an add-on at 1,000 EGP a month. Snatr has true or false and multiple choice questions that grade themselves, and a written question you grade yourself in group exams. The grade reaches the parent through their portal.

Live streaming on Snatr is not encrypted like uploaded video. It has a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording works. Class recording is a feature that gets switched on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the student group.

I run a tutoring center: Mnasah or Snatr for attendance, branches and assistants?

Both have QR attendance, branches and schedules. On Snatr this comes with the first plan at 999 EGP. On Mnasah, according to the plan cards, attendance and branches are on the Professional plan at 5,000 EGP before tax.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with schedules and a number of seats, and an attendance register for every session.
  • Attendance by a printed QR card for each student, or by hand.
  • Assistants and front-desk staff with their own accounts, and 4 ready-made permission presets.
  • If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed at that moment.
  • All of this on every plan, together with online teaching in one account.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • Attendance by QR or barcode, with absence reports and automatic alerts.
  • Branches, rooms and recurring schedules, and in-person exams at the branch.
  • Attendance and branches on the Professional plan at 5,000 EGP, according to the plan cards.
  • Supervisors and permission roles from the Growth plan at 2,500 EGP.
  • More than one teacher: 3 on Growth, and 5 on Professional.

The comparison table on Mnasah's pricing page puts an "attendance system" on the second plan, using plan names different from those on the cards. So ask them exactly which plan includes attendance, and get it in writing.

A QR card on Snatr carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But the card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is attendance by card, not by fingerprint.

Snatr is made for one teacher and their assistants, and assistants with permissions are on every plan. On Mnasah, several teachers and supervisors start from the Growth plan at 2,500 EGP. See center management on Snatr.

A branch session attendance register on Snatr, available from the first plan. The data shown is an illustrative example.

Parent follow-up: WhatsApp messages on Mnasah or a portal on Snatr?

Mnasah sends parents WhatsApp and SMS messages automatically about absences and grades, from the Professional plan at 5,000 EGP. Snatr has no messages, but from its first plan it has a parent portal where the parent sees their child's attendance and grades.

In Snatr

  • A parent portal on your site, with an account and a password.
  • They see their child's attendance and grades at any time.
  • You create the parent's account and give them the password.
  • No WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent to them automatically.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • Automatic WhatsApp messages to the parent about absences, grades and assignments.
  • Performance reports sent on WhatsApp, daily, weekly or monthly.
  • SMS and Telegram too, from the Professional plan.
  • An account the parent logs into is not mentioned on their pages.

WhatsApp messages on Mnasah reach the parent without them doing anything, from the Professional plan. The portal on Snatr needs the parent to open it, but shows them all of their child's attendance and grades in one place, from the first plan at 999 EGP.

The parent portal on a teacher's Snatr site: a greeting with the parent's name, a card for their child showing an attendance rate of 92% and counts of attendance, lateness and absence, and a menu with attendance, absences and grades
The parent portal on the teacher's Snatr site, where the parent sees their child's attendance. The data shown is an illustrative example.

App, domain and store: what does each platform have?

Mnasah lists an Android and iOS app under your name, a custom domain on every plan, a book store with delivery and more than one teacher. Snatr has no app or store, and its custom domain is on the Pro plan only. Both have discount coupons.

In Snatr

  • A site in your name from day one.
  • A custom domain on the Pro plan; the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free.
  • 30 ready-made site designs whose text, colors and images you edit without code.
  • No app under your name; the student opens your platform in the phone's browser.
  • One teacher per platform, with their assistants.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • A link like academy.tafra-tech.com, according to the features page.
  • A custom domain on every plan, according to their FAQ.
  • Android, iOS and Windows apps.
  • A book store with Bosta shipping and cash on delivery, from the Professional plan.
  • Discount coupons, and from the Growth plan a student forum and more than one teacher.

If you want an app under your name on Google Play, or you sell books shipped to the student's home, Mnasah lists these and Snatr does not. If you want a ready-made site where you change your text, colors and images, browse Snatr's designs.

On Snatr, once your custom domain is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically, along with your Google ranking. The custom domain is not available during the trial.

Free trial and technical support: Mnasah or Snatr?

Mnasah gives a 14-day trial with no card, and a money-back guarantee. Snatr's trial is 7 days. Support on both is in Arabic, and on Mnasah it is 24/7 only on the higher plans.

In Snatr

  • A 7-day free trial.
  • Support in Arabic on WhatsApp and email.
  • A right-to-left Arabic dashboard, with English as well.
  • Plan changes are made through support.

In ⁨Mnasah⁩

  • A 14-day trial with no card.
  • Money-back guarantee: 14 days on the pricing page, and 30 days in the terms.
  • Support during business hours on the first two plans, and 24/7 with an account manager on Business.
  • The site is in Arabic and English, and you can upgrade to a higher plan at any time.

Mnasah's trial is longer, but its pages say the trial comes with the advanced plan's features. So if you will subscribe to Starter, make sure the things you tried are included in it.

How to move from Mnasah to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you cancel anything

Open your Snatr account and try it free for 7 days. Keep your Mnasah subscription running until you are sure everything has moved.

  2. 2

Gather copies of your videos and files

Collect the original copies of your lesson videos and PDF files on your computer. Upload the videos to Snatr so they are encrypted. If you have free lessons on YouTube, you can add their links to the lesson instead of uploading them.

  3. 3

Create your courses and price them in EGP

Create each course with its lessons and exams, and set its price in EGP. Remember that Snatr's fee is added for the student on top of your price, so choose the price you want the student to see.

  4. 4

Enroll your current students without them paying again

Student records and passwords do not move between platforms on their own. A student who has already paid you can be enrolled in the course manually, with no commission. If they have balance in a Mnasah wallet or a top-up card, agree with them on it before you move.

  5. 5

Set up the center and parents

Create your branches and groups with their schedules, and print a QR card for each student. Open an account for each assistant with the permissions you choose, and an account for each parent on their portal.

  6. 6

Cancel Mnasah before the renewal date

Mnasah's terms say a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. So cancel before the next renewal. If you have a custom domain connected to it, ask Snatr support before you cancel.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • No messages to parents: Snatr does not send WhatsApp or SMS messages to parents automatically. The parent follows along from their portal on your site.
  • No app under your name: your platform runs in the phone's browser, and there is no app on Google Play or the App Store.
  • No book store: Snatr has no store for printed books with delivery.
  • One teacher per platform: no multiple teachers with split earnings.
  • Screen recording is not blocked: and neither is a phone filming the screen. The watermark puts the student's name on the recording, which deters, but it is not proof.
  • Custom domain on Pro only: it is not available during the trial, and the Snatr team buys and connects it.
  • Live classes on the Pro plan only: that is 2,999 EGP a month, and Starter and Basic have no live classes.
  • A 7-day trial: with no payment and no card, and your site closes when it ends without a subscription.
  • No AI: Snatr does not analyze student performance with AI, and does not generate questions with it.
  • Plan changes go through support: you do not change your plan yourself from the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Mnasah (Tafra Tech) or Snatr?

Mnasah and Tafra Tech are two sites with the same copy and prices, so the choice is between that product and Snatr. For a teacher with a center, Snatr is better: attendance, branches, a parent portal and assistants are on the first plan at 999 EGP, with 50 GB. On Mnasah, attendance, branches and WhatsApp messages start on the Professional plan at 5,000 EGP before tax.

What is Tafra Tech?

Tafra Tech, at tafra-tech.com, is an education management system with the same copy, features and prices as the Mnasah platform, and the contact email on both sites is the same. The Tafra Tech site also shows plans for training centers from 4,000 EGP a month, for schools from 12,000, and for universities from 30,000 EGP, all before tax.

Do Mnasah's prices include tax?

No. Mnasah's pricing page says the prices shown exclude 14% VAT. So the Starter plan at 999 becomes about 1,139 EGP a month, and Professional at 5,000 becomes 5,700 EGP.

Which is cheaper for an online teacher without a center: Mnasah or Snatr?

Snatr. Snatr's Starter plan is 999 EGP a month, with 100 students and 50 GB. Mnasah's Starter plan is 999 EGP as a launch price, about 1,139 with tax, and has only 5 GB. When the offer ends its price is 1,500, which is 1,710 EGP with tax.

Does Mnasah take a commission on my sales?

Mnasah's pages do not mention a commission on your sales, or who pays the payment company's fees, so ask them before you subscribe. On Snatr nothing is deducted from your price, and the platform fee on online payments is added for the student on top of your price.

Is there a free trial on Mnasah and on Snatr?

Yes, on both. Mnasah gives 14 days with no card, and has a money-back guarantee: 14 days on the pricing page, and 30 days from the first subscription in the terms. Snatr has a 7-day free trial.

If my students exceed my plan, does registration stop?

On Snatr, no. A new student registers normally, and you pay for each extra student 15 EGP on Starter, 10 on Basic and 7 on Pro. On Mnasah, the FAQ says they will notify you before you reach the limit so you can upgrade to a higher plan, and the plan after Starter costs 2,500 EGP.

Does Mnasah have top-up cards for students? And Snatr?

Yes, both. Mnasah has prepaid top-up cards and a wallet for each student from the first plan. Snatr has top-up codes you print as cards and sell for cash; a code either opens a course or group for a number of months or sessions, or adds credit to the student's balance on your site. You can also enroll a student who paid you cash manually, with no commission at all.

Is Snatr Egyptian like Mnasah?

Yes. Both are Egyptian platforms, priced in EGP, with an Arabic interface. The difference is that Mnasah is made for every kind of institution, from a single teacher to a university. Snatr is made for the Egyptian teacher and their tutoring center, so attendance, branches and parents are on all its plans.
