What is Maharify, and who is it for?
Maharify is an Egyptian platform run from Cairo, at maharify.com. It sells a teacher or a tutoring center a monthly or yearly subscription and gives them an online academy at a link like your-name.maharify.com. From there they upload lessons, manage students and take payments online.
Maharify's prices are in Egyptian pounds and include 14% VAT, and its commission on sales is 0% on every plan. Payments go through the Kashier gateway. Its pages say it is built for the independent teacher, for centers with more than one teacher and several branches, and for academies selling professional and language courses.
Maharify focuses on course tools. The first plan is 499 EGP for 300 students, and it includes an AI assistant that generates questions from your lesson. The platform also has a shared whiteboard that several people can write on. From the 1,199 EGP plan up there are certificates with a verification link, live sessions and a custom domain. Its pages state a 14-day trial with no card, and a full refund within 14 days of the first payment.
What Maharify does not spell out is the part that happens in the center and after the sale. Its pages mention attendance and groups, but do not say how attendance is recorded at the door. They also do not say where the money is withdrawn to, or how much the payment gateway fees are.
Snatr, at snatr.com, also builds you a platform under your own name, but it was made for the teacher and the center in Egypt from the start. Center management and the parent portal come with the first plan, and Snatr also has live streaming from inside your platform on the Pro plan.
