Snatr vs Zentos: a comparison for teachers and tutoring centers in Egypt (2026)
Snatr is the better choice for a teacher or a center in Egypt. Students pay by Fawry, wallets or card, your price reaches you in full, and you withdraw to Vodafone Cash. You also get branches, a parent portal, live classes with the mic on Pro, and encrypted, measured video. Zentos is an Egyptian platform where you pay 0.05 EGP per student a month or a plan from 999 EGP, and its commission and payment fees are not published.

Zentos
An Egyptian platform for teachers and tutoring centers, where you pay by number of students or a fixed plan from 999 EGP.
Zentos Academy is an Egyptian platform that gives a teacher a learning platform in their own name, on a link such as academy.zentosacademy.com. Its website is zentosacademy.com, and the footer says "proudly made in Egypt". It says it is built for the Egyptian teacher and the tutoring center.
Its listed features are video with DRM protection, exams with a question bank, center attendance by QR code scan, and absence reports to parents on WhatsApp. It also has top-up cards that are printed and sold, an Android and iPhone app in the teacher's name, and an AI assistant called "Zeno" that answers the teacher's questions.
What sets Zentos apart most is how it prices. It has a "pay as you go" plan with no fixed subscription: you top up a wallet and pay 0.05 EGP per student a month. It also has fixed plans from 999 EGP a month. Its page says it is rated 4.9 by more than 5,000 teachers and students; that figure is published by them, not by us.
The Zentos website is a single home page, plus a refund policy page. The links to the help center, user guide and blog in the footer do not open any pages today. That is why many things a teacher needs to know are not written down, and in this comparison they are marked "Not stated".
Snatr at snatr.com also gives you a platform in your name, but it was built for teachers and tutoring centers in Egypt from the start, with the center and online in one account. If you are comparing Snatr with other platforms too, see all Snatr comparisons.
Price and money
Zentos Academy prices: and how much of your students' money reaches you on each platform?
Zentos charges 0.05 EGP per student and 0.17 per GB a month, so 100 students and 50 GB cost about 14 EGP. Snatr starts at 999 EGP, and your net is written down: your price reaches you in full, the commission is on the student, and you withdraw to Vodafone Cash.
In Snatr
✓Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB, and each extra student at 15 EGP.
✓Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB, and each extra student at 10 EGP.
✓Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, each extra student at 7 EGP, plus live classes and a custom domain.
✓An extra student is charged once when they enroll, not every month, and registration does not stop.
✓Your price reaches you in full, and the online payment fee is added on top of your price for the student.
In Zentos
Pay as you go: no fixed subscription, 0.05 EGP per student and 0.17 per GB a month.
Starter: 999 EGP a month, 1,000 students, 100 GB.
Growth: 2,500 EGP, 3,000 students, 500 GB, and advanced reports.
Pro: 4,000 EGP, 5,000 students, 1 TB, with a custom domain and an app in your name.
On fixed plans: 5% off if you pay for 3 months, 10% for 6 months, and 15% for a year.
Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month
On Snatr the 29,001 EGP is a written net figure, and on Zentos the commission and payment fees are not published

Zentos prices are from its website on 7 October 2026, and the calculation assumes 50 GB of video, like the Snatr plan. The Zentos figure is before any commission or payment fees, because they are not published. On Snatr the student pays the payment fee on top of the 300 EGP, so if you want them to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower.
The fixed Zentos plans have "approximately" written next to their price. The pay-as-you-go plan runs on a wallet you top up in advance. Zentos says "your platform runs as long as there is credit", so you have to keep an eye on your balance.
The feature table for the pay-as-you-go plan lists protection, the wallet and support, but not exams. Yet the text above the table says it includes exams. Ask Zentos before you choose, because exams are listed in the table for the 999 EGP Starter plan, which is the same price as Snatr's first plan.
What is not written on the Zentos website is what decides your net income. That is the platform's commission on your sales if there is one, the payment company's fees and who pays them, and how and how quickly you withdraw your earnings. Ask them about all three before comparing on subscription alone.
On Snatr, if a student paid you cash at the center, you enroll them manually in the course with no fee at all. See Snatr pricing in detail.
In short: Before you compare subscriptions, find out the net that will reach you: the commission, the payment fees and how you withdraw. If your students pay by Fawry and Vodafone Cash, first find out how the money will reach you.
Does Zentos accept payment in EGP, Fawry and mobile wallets?
Zentos prices are in EGP, and card payment through Paymob is mentioned in the refund policy, along with paper top-up cards. Fawry and wallets are not mentioned on any page. On Snatr the student pays by Fawry, mobile wallet or card, and there are also top-up cards you print and sell for cash.
In Snatr
✓The student pays in EGP by card, Visa and Mastercard.
✓Fawry: the student gets a code and pays it at any Fawry outlet within 24 hours.
✓Mobile wallets (such as Vodafone Cash).
✓You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account.
✓Money is available to withdraw after 7 days at present, with a minimum withdrawal of 100 EGP.
In Zentos
Card (Visa and Mastercard) through Paymob, according to the refund policy.
Paper top-up cards the student buys at the center, whose credit is not refundable.
Fawry and wallets are not mentioned on its pages.
Commission, and how and how quickly you withdraw your earnings: not stated.
Top-up cards are a real feature on both platforms. You print them and sell them at the center, and the student tops up with them without a bank card, which is a familiar way of selling at tutoring centers. On Snatr a code either opens a course or group for a number of months or sessions, or adds credit to the student's balance on your site. You can also register a student who paid cash manually with no fee.
The Zentos refund policy gives the student 48 hours to ask for their money back, if they have not watched more than 20% of the content. The money goes back to the same card in 7 to 14 business days. Ask Zentos: is that amount deducted from your earnings or not?
If your students pay with Vodafone Cash or Fawry, ask Zentos before you subscribe: are these methods available? And how does the money reach you, and after how long?
Video and protection
Video protection: "100% protection" on Zentos or measured encryption on Snatr?
Snatr encrypts video, and has published a measurement showing that the file without the key comes out as noise. Zentos writes "100% protection against piracy" and "a complete ban on screen recording", with no details on the method or the devices.
In Snatr
✓Uploaded video is encrypted, and its key goes to the decryption module in the browser, not to the page.
✓Download extensions, "paste the link and download" sites and yt-dlp cannot save it.
✓A watermark moves across the video and shows the student's name.
✓A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
✓Screen recording is not prevented, and Snatr says so clearly.
In Zentos
It writes "advanced content protection and DRM encryption" and "100% protection against piracy".
It says there is "a complete ban on screen recording and capture software".
A dynamic watermark with the student's mobile number.
Offline viewing inside the app, with the file encrypted by their account.
Which devices the ban works on, and any measurement of the protection: not published.
The measurement on Snatr: without the key the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key it comes out intact at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original.
If blocking screen recording is your reason for choosing, ask Zentos: does the block work only in the app, or in the browser too? And on iPhone? And keep in mind that no platform can stop a second phone filming the screen.
On iPhone and iPad, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail on them too. But the protection there is somewhat weaker against a technically skilled person. This protection covers the video you upload, not a YouTube link. Learn more about video protection on Snatr.
Live classes and exams
Does Zentos have live classes and exams? And how does it differ from Snatr?
Zentos mentions live classes without explaining how they work, and it has exams with a question bank and instant grading. Snatr has live classes inside your platform on the Pro plan, with chat and a mic for the student, and exams whose grade reaches the parent.
In Snatr
✓Live classes inside your platform, without Zoom or Google Meet.
✓Chat and raised hands, and you can give a student the mic to speak in front of classmates.
✓Attendance in the class is recorded automatically: present or late.
✓Assistants moderate the mics, the chat and who enters the class.
✓Exams and homework grade themselves, and the grade shows to the student and the parent.
In Zentos
The home page lists "DRM-encrypted live streaming", and live class time notifications in the app.
Whether live classes run inside the platform or another tool, and interaction in class: not stated.
Exams with different question types, a question bank, and instant grading.
Analysis of each student's strengths and weaknesses.
Advanced reports and analytics from the Growth plan (2,500 EGP).
Live classes on Snatr are not encrypted like uploaded video. They carry a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording works. Recording a class is a feature that is switched on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the students' group.
The Zentos sign-up page mentions certificates for students without explaining them. Snatr has a printable completion certificate with a QR code that opens a verification page on your site.
Centers and parents
Run a tutoring center? Zentos or Snatr for attendance and parents
Both have QR scan attendance at the center. Snatr also has branches, a parent portal and assistants with permissions, which Zentos does not mention. Zentos says it sends absence reports to parents on WhatsApp automatically.
In Snatr
✓Branches and groups with schedules and seat counts, and an attendance register for every class.
✓Attendance by a printed QR card for each student, or manually from the register.
✓A parent portal on your site, where parents see their child's attendance and grades.
✓Assistants and front-desk staff with their own accounts, and you choose which screens each one sees.
✓The center and online courses in the same account.
In Zentos
Attendance by QR code or barcode scan at the center.
Instant, automatic absence reports to parents on WhatsApp, by their account.
A "center" account that mentions managing rooms and groups, paper attendance and barcodes.
Assistant accounts are mentioned in the refund policy, and permissions are not explained.
A parent portal and branch management: not stated.
On Snatr the parent signs in to their portal on your site and sees attendance and grades themselves, not just absences. But no message reaches them automatically on WhatsApp.
The QR card on Snatr carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But a card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is card attendance, not a fingerprint.
There are four assistant permission presets on Snatr: front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed that same instant.
In short: If you have more than one branch, ask Zentos first: does it manage branches? And can parents log in to see grades themselves? See center management on Snatr.

Your platform, your name
A platform in your name: app, domain and design on Zentos and Snatr
Both give you a platform in your name. Snatr has 30 ready designs, and a custom domain on Pro at 2,999 EGP, which the Snatr team connects. Zentos has an Android and iPhone app and a custom domain on its Pro plan at 4,000 EGP.
In Snatr
✓A site in your name from day one.
✓Custom domain on the Pro plan: the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free.
✓30 ready-made designs whose text, colors and images you edit without code.
✓Your site in Arabic, English or both.
✓No app in your name, and students open your platform in the phone's browser.
In Zentos
Your link, such as academy.zentosacademy.com, with your logo and colors.
Custom domain on Pro and Custom.
An Android and iPhone app with your name and logo, with notifications and offline viewing.
The plans table puts the app on Pro and Custom only.
At sign-up you choose a color scheme; ready-made designs are not mentioned.
The description of the Zentos pay-as-you-go plan says it includes "mobile apps instantly", but its feature table does not include the app. And the Zentos website has no link to a published app on Google Play or the App Store. If the app is your reason for choosing, ask them to show you a working teacher app.
On Snatr, a custom domain is not available during the trial. Once it is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically and keeps your Google ranking. Browse the Snatr designs.
Language and support
Support and terms: what is published on Zentos and Snatr?

A teacher's Zentos subscription can be refunded within 7 days, provided you have not used the plan intensively, such as generating top-up cards or streaming lectures. Starting with them is free with no credit card, on the pay-as-you-go plan.
Before you put your students and your money on any platform, read its terms of use and privacy policy. If they are not published, ask the platform itself for them.
How to move from Zentos to Snatr
1
Try Snatr before you stop Zentos
Open your Snatr account and try it free for 7 days. Keep Zentos running until you are sure everything has moved. Note that your Snatr site closes when the trial ends without a subscription.
2
Let your students use up their top-up card credit
Zentos policy says credit loaded with paper cards is not refundable. So before you move, agree with your students to use that credit on Zentos, or count it for them when you enroll them on Snatr.
3
Gather copies of your videos and files
Collect the original copies of your lesson videos and PDF files on your computer. Upload the videos to Snatr so they are encrypted, and if you have free lessons on YouTube you can add their links.
4
Create your courses and enroll your current students
Create each course with its lessons and exams, and set its price in EGP. The Zentos website does not explain exporting student data, so ask their support for a file with their names. Then enroll each student who has already paid you manually in the course, with no fee.
5
If you run a center, set up branches and cards
Create your branches and groups with their schedules, and print a QR card for each student. Open an account for each assistant with the permissions you choose, and send each parent their login details for their portal.
6
Stop Zentos
Once your students start using your new platform, stop your Zentos subscription. If you are on a fixed plan, cancel it before the renewal date, because their refund window is only 7 days. If you had a custom domain on it, ask Snatr support before you cancel.
Snatr's limits, before you sign up
We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.
!Students are tied to the plan: the first plan is 999 EGP for 100 students, and each extra student costs 15 EGP once when they enrol. Enrolment never stops.
!No app in your name: there is no mobile app on Google Play or the App Store, and your platform runs in the phone's browser.
!No messages to parents: no WhatsApp or SMS is sent automatically. Parents follow attendance and grades from their portal on your site.
!Screen recording is not prevented: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark puts the student's name on the recording, which deters, but it is not proof.
!No AI assistant: and no affiliate marketing or email marketing messages.
!Custom domain on the Pro plan only: and it is not available during the trial.
!Plan changes go through support: you do not change your plan yourself from the dashboard.
