What is LearnSou, and who is it for?

LearnSou is a ready-made learning platform that runs under its owner's name, which is what they call white-label: students see your name, your logo and your colors. Its website is learnsou.com, and it says it is built for training centers, educational institutions and independent trainers.

The website is a single page in Arabic. It does not say which country the company is from or which currency it works in, and at the bottom of the page it says it is built "for the region". The home page says support is 24/7 and that the platform launches within 3 days.

It has some genuinely strong features. Questions appear inside the recorded video at a time you set, and an AI assistant answers students and summarizes lessons. There are also Android and iPhone apps in your name, and live classes with a whiteboard and automatic recording of every session.

What LearnSou does not mention is what an Egyptian teacher needs every day: payment by Fawry and mobile wallets, withdrawals to Vodafone Cash, center attendance and a parent portal. The only payment method mentioned is Stripe, through your own account, and Stripe does not open accounts in Egypt.

Snatr, at snatr.com, also builds you a platform in your name, but it was made for teachers and tutoring centers in Egypt from the start. Its prices are published in EGP, and the center and online teaching are in one account. If you are comparing other platforms, see all Snatr comparisons.

Does LearnSou accept payment in EGP, by Fawry and mobile wallets?

Not stated. The only payment method mentioned on LearnSou's website is Stripe, through your own account, and Stripe does not open accounts in Egypt and has no Fawry or Egyptian wallets. In Snatr, students pay in EGP by Fawry, mobile wallets and card.

In Snatr

  • Students pay in EGP by card, with a Fawry code within 24 hours, or with a wallet such as Vodafone Cash.
  • The money goes into your Snatr wallet and becomes available to withdraw after a holding period, currently 7 days.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.
  • A student who paid you cash at the center is recorded manually, with no fee at all.
  • You do not need an account with any payment company, or a company registered outside Egypt.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • It says "Stripe payments": you connect your own Stripe account, and the money goes to it.
  • Any other payment gateway, such as Paymob or Fawry, is not mentioned on the website.
  • Egypt is not on the list of countries where Stripe opens accounts.
  • Stripe's payment methods include no Fawry, no Vodafone Cash and no Egyptian wallet.
  • They say Stripe gives flexibility in pricing and discount coupons.

This is according to LearnSou's home page, Stripe's official page of supported countries, and Stripe's payment methods page, on 7 October 2026. Stripe is an American payment company. A student can pay through it by card if their card works for international payments, but a teacher in Egypt cannot open an account to receive the money.

Stripe itself suggests that people in unsupported countries set up an American company through Stripe Atlas. That costs 500 dollars once, and 100 dollars a year after the first year, according to the Atlas page. It means an American company in your name, with its paperwork and obligations.

If you did that, a US Stripe account charges 2.9% and 30 cents on every successful transaction. Another 1.5% is added because an Egyptian student's card is issued outside the US, and 1% if there is currency conversion. These fees are deducted from your money.

In short: Ask LearnSou before anything else: how will you receive your students' money while you are in Egypt? Because what its website publishes is Stripe only.

How much does LearnSou cost, and what exactly will Snatr cost you?

LearnSou does not publish any price, and it prepares a quote for each institution after you contact it. Snatr's prices are published in EGP: from 999 EGP a month for 100 students, and your price reaches you in full.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB, and an extra student costs 15 EGP.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB, and an extra student costs 10 EGP.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, an extra student costs 7 EGP, plus live classes and a custom domain.
  • The features are the same on all three plans except live classes and the custom domain, and registration does not close if your students go over.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • It says "custom pricing based on your needs", and there is not a single figure on the website.
  • The quote depends on storage, the number of simultaneous users, the number of live sessions, and the domain.
  • You request the quote through a form, and they say they reply within 24 hours.
  • The currency, any percentage fee on sales, and a free trial: not stated.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

In Snatr you receive 29,001 EGP of every 30,000, and you know the figure before you subscribe

What reaches you a month29,001 EGPCannot be calculated from what is published

Snatr's prices are from its pricing page in October 2026. LearnSou published no price on 7 October 2026, so there is no figure for it in the calculation. In Snatr the student pays the payment fee on top of the 300 EGP, so if you want them to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower.

Your students pay 300 EGPSnatr planSubscription a monthWhat reaches you a month

200 studentsBasic1,999 EGP58,001 EGP

The "concurrent users" that LearnSou's quote is built on means how many people have the platform open at the same moment, not the total number of your students. So if all your students take an exam at the same time, ask how many people at once the quote can handle.

In Snatr your price reaches you in full, because the online payment fee is added for the student on top of your price. Each student beyond your plan is charged once when they join, at the extra-student price, not every month.

That is why the calculation below has Snatr's figures only. Any figure for LearnSou here would be a guess, so ask for their quote in writing and put it next to this one.

In short: Ask for a written LearnSou quote that states the subscription, the currency, any percentage of sales and any setup fee. Compare it with this table after adding Stripe's fees. See Snatr's pricing in detail.

Video protection in LearnSou and Snatr: who says what, exactly?

Snatr encrypts the video you upload, and it published a measurement showing that without the key the file comes out as noise. LearnSou writes "advanced protection against downloading" without saying how it does it.

In Snatr

  • The video is encrypted, and its key goes to a locked component inside the browser, not to the page.
  • Download extensions, "paste your link and download" sites and programs like yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A moving watermark with the student's name, so any screen recording shows their name.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • It says "advanced protection against downloading and intellectual property theft for all your lessons and content".
  • It also says the library of recorded courses is "organized and protected".
  • The protection method, encryption, and a watermark with the student's name: not stated.
  • The number of devices per student, iPhone, and screen recording: not stated.

The measurement in Snatr: without the key the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key it comes out clean at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original. LearnSou has not published any measurement like this.

Ask LearnSou before you subscribe: is the video itself encrypted, or is only the link protected? Is there a watermark with the student's name? Does the protection work on iPhone?

In Snatr too, screen recording and a phone filming the screen are not blocked, and the watermark only deters. On iPhone and iPad the protection is weaker against a technically skilled person. And the protection covers uploaded video, not a YouTube link.

In short: Full details are on the Snatr video protection page.

Questions inside the video and an AI assistant: LearnSou or Snatr?

LearnSou has questions that appear inside the recorded video at a time you set, and an AI assistant for students. Neither exists in Snatr. Exams that grade themselves exist on both platforms.

In Snatr

  • No questions inside the video, and the video plays through to the end.
  • No AI assistant, and no AI-generated questions.
  • Quizzes and exams with true or false and multiple choice, graded automatically.
  • The grade appears to the student, and to the parent through their portal.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • You set the time of the question, and the video pauses until the student answers and continues.
  • It also says the question can appear at the end of the video.
  • Multiple choice and true or false, with instant results per student and per question.
  • An AI assistant that answers students, summarizes lessons and creates short quizzes from your content.
  • A variety of tests, and performance reports per student and per group.

Questions inside the video make sure the student is following a recorded lesson, not leaving the video running and walking away. Snatr does not have this as of today.

In Snatr, quizzes and exams are created for a school year or a specific group, and the student takes them on your platform, separate from the video. In an exam you can add a written question that you grade yourself.

LearnSou does not say which plan the AI assistant is on or what it costs. Ask them about this if it is your reason for choosing it.

In short: On Snatr quizzes and exams mark themselves, and the mark reaches the student and the parent through their portal.

Live classes in LearnSou and Snatr: what is the difference?

Both have live classes inside the platform, without Zoom, and on Snatr they are on the Pro plan. LearnSou mentions a whiteboard and automatic recording of every session. Snatr has a student mic, raised hands and moderators from among your assistants, and attendance is recorded as present or late.

In Snatr

  • Students watch from your platform, with chat and raised hands, and you can give a student the mic.
  • You share your screen on its own or with the camera, but there is no built-in whiteboard in the live class.
  • Assistants can moderate mics, chat and who gets in.
  • Attendance at the session is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Recording the session is a feature you switch on, and the recording is added to the student group.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • HD live classes inside the platform, with chat, a whiteboard, and screen and file sharing.
  • Every session is recorded automatically, and the recording appears to students inside the course.
  • Attendance is recorded automatically, and there are private sessions for one student and group workshops.
  • More than one session at the same time, up to the limit in your plan.
  • A student mic or raised hands: not mentioned.

Live classes in Snatr are not encrypted like uploaded video. They carry a watermark and a temporary link, but screen recording works.

LearnSou does not say how its live classes are protected, or whether a student can speak on the mic.

In short: If you teach groups and want students to ask questions out loud and attendance recorded as present or late, Snatr is closer to how you work.

Do you run a tutoring center? Does LearnSou have attendance, branches and a parent portal?

Not stated. The only attendance LearnSou mentions is automatic attendance in live classes. Snatr has branches and groups, QR card attendance, a parent portal and assistants with permissions, together with online teaching in one account.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with their schedules and the capacity of each group, plus sessions and an attendance register.
  • Attendance with a printed QR card for each student or manually, and the code is signed and cannot be forged.
  • Parents see their child's attendance and grades from a portal on your site.
  • Accounts for assistants and front-desk staff, and 4 ready-made permission presets.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • Automatic attendance is mentioned for live classes only.
  • Branches, groups with schedules, or a QR card: not mentioned.
  • A portal or account for parents: not mentioned.
  • Roles and permissions for students, trainers and administrators, with a dashboard for each role.

The four presets in Snatr are front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed instantly, without them signing out and back in.

The QR card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is attendance by card, not by fingerprint.

If you choose LearnSou and run a center, you will still need a notebook or another program for attendance and parents.

In short: Details are on the Snatr center management page.

A platform in your name: the domain, the app and the Powered by LearnSou line

Both give you a platform in your name. LearnSou has an Android and iPhone app in your name, and Snatr does not. The custom domain on LearnSou is on the White Label plans, and on Snatr it is on Pro, connected by the Snatr team.

In Snatr

  • Your platform starts on a site in your name.
  • Custom domain on Pro: the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free.
  • 30 ready designs whose colors, text and images you edit without code, and the first two are free.
  • No mobile app in your name: students open your platform in the phone's browser.
  • One teacher per platform, with no multiple teachers splitting earnings.

In ⁨LearnSou⁩

  • Your logo, colors and text, and they handle all the technical setup.
  • The custom domain is on the White Label plans, whose price is not published.
  • The line "Powered by LearnSou" appears on every plan, according to their page.
  • Android and iPhone apps in your name, ready to publish on the Google and Apple stores.
  • Trainer roles, meaning more than one trainer on the same platform.

In Snatr, the custom domain is not available during the trial. Once it is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically, and your Google ranking moves with it.

LearnSou does not say which plan the app is on, what it costs, or who publishes it to the store. Ask them about this if the app is your reason for choosing it.

The line "Powered by LearnSou" means the LearnSou name stays visible on your platform, even alongside your name and logo.

In short: Browse Snatr's designs before you choose; every design has a full preview.

How do you start on each platform, and how do language and support work?

On Snatr you sign up yourself and try it free for 7 days. On LearnSou you book a demo through a form, and they say they reply within 24 hours and that your platform launches within 3 days. Both are in Arabic.

In Snatr

  • You sign up on the website, confirm your WhatsApp number with a code, and enter your platform's name and logo.
  • A 7-day free trial, and the site closes when it ends without a subscription.
  • The dashboard is in Arabic, right to left, with English as well.
  • Support in Arabic on WhatsApp and by email at support@snatr.com.
  • The terms of use and privacy policy are published on the website.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • No questions inside the video: video in Snatr plays to the end, and the exam is separate from it.
  • No AI: there is no assistant answering students, and no AI-generated questions.
  • No app in your name: there is no app on Google Play or the App Store, and students open your platform in the phone's browser.
  • No built-in whiteboard in live classes: you share your screen only. Recording the session is a feature you switch on, not automatic for every session.
  • Live classes on Pro only: Starter and Basic have no live classes.

  • Custom domain on Pro only: and not available during the trial.
  • No installments: no installments through valU or banks.
