What is Skolera? And who is it for?
Skolera combines learning management and school management in one place. Its About page says it was previously called Bedopedia, and that it is built to run education institutions from kindergarten to secondary (K-12).
The system has two parts. The learning part has a curriculum planner for the head of department, content, assignments and quizzes for the teacher, a gradebook, and badges for students. The school management part has student affairs, fees and payroll, human resources, transport, the library, inventory and the timetable.
Skolera has offices in Massachusetts, London, Cairo and Riyadh, according to the footer of every page on its site. Its news page names Egyptian schools that use it, such as the Forsan schools in Alexandria and Notion International School in Giza.
Skolera is built to carry the whole school: administration, teachers, students and parents in one system, with an Android app in each school's name. That is the job of a school system, and Snatr is not a school system.
The whole site speaks to schools. The demo form asks for the school's name and type (international or private), and every job title in it is a school role. There is no way on the site for a private tutor to sign up alone.
Snatr, at snatr.com, is built for the other case: a private tutor, a tutoring center or an academy that sells its lessons in EGP. If you are comparing it with other school systems, see Snatr vs Classera and Snatr vs Google Classroom.
