What is Droosoo, and who is it for?

Droosoo is an Egyptian platform for selling courses online, and its official site is droosoo.com. It calls itself "a platform for selling courses online in Egypt" and serves both teachers and students. The teacher uploads courses, and the student buys a single lesson or a whole course from an app or from the website.

The company behind Droosoo is called Nabd Software LLC, based in Cairo, as stated in its terms and on its About page. The site is in Arabic and English.

Droosoo stands out in three ways. There is no monthly subscription, and it takes 10% of each sale. It has student apps for iPhone and desktop, plus a download file for Android. And it has a course catalog that students browse, so a new student can find you without you marketing to them.

What Droosoo's pages do not mention is the part many teachers in Egypt need every week: live classes, attendance at the tutoring center, parent follow-up and assistants. That is why the table says "Not stated", not "not available".

Snatr at snatr.com gives you a platform and a website in your name, built for teachers and tutoring centers in Egypt. Students pay online in EGP, and live classes, the center and parents sit in one account. If you are comparing other platforms too, see every Snatr comparison.

How much does Droosoo take from each sale? And what reaches you on Snatr?

Droosoo takes 10% of each sale with no subscription, so the commission grows with every new student. Snatr is a fixed subscription from 999 EGP a month that takes no share of your sales, and your price reaches you in full.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, plus live classes and a custom domain.
  • Extra students are charged once when they enroll, not every month, and enrollment does not stop.
  • The platform fee on online payments is added on top of your price for the student.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • One plan: a 10% commission on every sale.
  • No monthly fee and no sign-up fee, and they say there are no hidden fees.
  • Unlimited courses and students.
  • Their example: sell 50,000 EGP and you receive 45,000 EGP.
  • A student who paid you outside the platform is added by hand at no fee.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

Snatr's Starter plan leaves you 2,001 EGP more a month

Droosoo's commission is from its pricing page on 16 October 2026, which says there are no other fees. On Snatr the student pays the platform fee on top of the 300 EGP, so if you want the student to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower. On Droosoo the 10% is deducted from every sale, so every new student adds to what you pay the platform.

On Droosoo the 10% grows with your sales: 3,000 EGP on 30,000 EGP of sales, and 5,000 on 50,000. On Snatr the subscription is fixed, and an extra student is charged only once, so the more students you have, the more the gap grows in your favor.

On Snatr the student pays the platform fee on top of your price, so if your price is 300 EGP the student pays a little more. On Droosoo the student pays exactly 300, and the 10% is deducted from you. Either way someone pays the platform; the difference is who.

If you run live classes, price it on the Snatr Pro plan, at 2,999 EGP a month. With 100 students paying 300 EGP, what reaches you is about the same as on Droosoo, and you also get live classes, the center and parents. See Snatr's prices in detail.

In short: Work out your monthly sales before you choose. A commission grows with every sale, and Snatr's fixed subscription leaves you more as your students grow.

Does Droosoo accept payment in EGP, Fawry and mobile wallets?

Yes. Droosoo accepts Fawry, wallets, cards, InstaPay and Meeza, and the student tops up a wallet and buys from it. Snatr also accepts card, Fawry and wallets in EGP. The difference is in how fast and where you withdraw.

In Snatr

  • Students pay in EGP by card, Visa and Mastercard.
  • Fawry: the student gets a code and pays it at any Fawry outlet within 24 hours.
  • Mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account.
  • Top-up cards you print and sell for cash; a code unlocks a course or adds credit.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • Vodafone Cash, Orange, Etisalat Cash and WE Pay.
  • Fawry, Meeza, InstaPay, Visa and Mastercard.
  • The student tops up a Droosoo wallet and buys a lesson or a course from it.
  • Money reaches your bank account within one or two business days.
  • Unspent wallet credit is refundable within 10 days.

Both accept the methods Egyptian students are used to, so this point is close. Droosoo's teachers page shows the Paymob logo as its payment gateway.

The difference is in withdrawals. Droosoo says money reaches your bank account within one or two business days. On Snatr money becomes available to withdraw after a safety period of currently 7 days, the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP, and you can withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or a bank.

On Snatr you can also print top-up cards and sell them for cash at the center or through a distributor. A code either unlocks a specific course or group, or adds credit to the student's balance on your site. Droosoo's pages do not mention this.

In short: On Snatr you withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or the bank, and you can sell top-up cards for cash at your center.

Video protection on Droosoo and Snatr: DRM, screen recording and devices

Both protect video from downloading. Snatr has published a measurement of its encryption and puts the student's name on the video. Droosoo says it has DRM and that screen recording is blocked, with no published measurement.

In Snatr

  • Uploaded video is encrypted, and its key goes to the browser's decryption module, not to the page.
  • Downloader extensions, "paste the link" sites and yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A watermark with the student's name moves across the video.
  • A student can be signed in on only one device at a time.
  • Screen recording is not blocked; the watermark only deters it.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • It says "DRM protection" on all content, plus protected PDF files.
  • Its home page says screen recording is blocked on every device.
  • Device and session policies reduce account sharing.
  • They say they have a legal team against piracy.
  • A watermark and a protection measurement are not mentioned.

The measurement on Snatr: without the key the file comes out as noise, only 10.6 dB similar to the original. With the key it comes out intact at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original.

Droosoo itself says on its protected-courses page that DRM is not a "100% magic solution" against filming, and that is true of any platform. No platform can stop a second phone filming the screen. Snatr's watermark carries the student's name, which deters recording, but it is not proof of who recorded.

On iPhone and iPad, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail there too. But protection there is a little weaker against a technically skilled person. Learn how Snatr protects video.

Does Droosoo have live classes, exams and certificates?

Droosoo's pages do not mention live classes or certificates. They mention quizzes after each lesson and an AI assistant for students. Snatr has live classes on the Pro plan, timed exams and completion certificates.

In Snatr

  • Live classes on your platform with no Zoom, with chat, raised hands and a mic for students.
  • Live attendance is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Exams are graded automatically, and the exam timer runs on the server.
  • A printable course completion certificate with a QR code that opens a verification page.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • Live classes are not mentioned on their pages.
  • Interactive quizzes and assessments, and questions after each lesson.
  • An AI assistant answers the student in every lesson.
  • Reports: who watched what, completion rates and engagement.

Snatr's exam timer runs on the server, not on the phone. So if the student closes the page or changes the clock, the time does not stop.

If you teach live classes every week, ask Droosoo before you start, because live classes are not mentioned on their pages. If they are not there, you will need another tool such as Zoom, and attendance will not be recorded on your platform.

Droosoo has an AI assistant for the student in every lesson, and Snatr does not have this. On Snatr, live streams are not encrypted like uploaded video: they carry a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording works.

I run a tutoring center: Droosoo or Snatr for attendance, parents and assistants?

Snatr is built for the center: branches and groups, QR card attendance, a parent portal and assistants with permissions. Droosoo's pages talk about selling courses online and do not mention attendance, parents or assistants.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with schedules and seat limits, and a register for every session.
  • Attendance with a printed QR card for every student, or by hand.
  • A parent portal on your site showing the child's attendance and grades.
  • Assistants with their own accounts, and you choose which screens each one sees.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • Center attendance, branches and groups are not mentioned.
  • A parent portal or parent app is not mentioned.
  • Accounts for assistants are not mentioned.
  • A dashboard per student: who watches each lesson, and their course progress.

Snatr's QR card carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But the card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is card attendance, not a fingerprint.

If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed instantly. The center and the online courses share one account and one dashboard. See center management in Snatr.

In short: If you run a center, Droosoo will cover selling recorded courses, and you will still need a notebook or another program for attendance and parents, unless they confirm otherwise.

A site in your name or a page on Droosoo? Plus the app and new students

Droosoo gives you a page on its site, student apps, and a course catalog where a new student might find you. Snatr gives you a full website in your name with your own design, with no app and no marketplace that brings students.

In Snatr

  • A full site in your name, with 30 designs you edit without code.
  • A custom domain like mybrand.com on Pro; the Snatr team buys and connects it.
  • Every site has its own sitemap so Google can find your courses.
  • You choose the sign-up fields: governorate, city, stage, ID card photo and parent phone.
  • No app in your name; students open your platform in the phone's browser.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • Your own page at droosoo.com/teacher/yourname with your courses.
  • An iPhone and iPad app on the App Store, with Google Play "coming soon".
  • Android is an APK file downloaded directly from their site.
  • Desktop apps for Windows, Mac and Linux, and studying offline.
  • A course catalog that shows teachers' courses to students.

Droosoo's course catalog shows many teachers' courses side by side, and Snatr does not have this. On Snatr your site carries your name alone and has a sitemap so Google can find it, and marketing is up to you.

Droosoo has apps, including offline study on a computer. Your platform on Snatr works in the phone and computer browser, with nothing for the student to install. Browse Snatr's designs.

How do you start with Droosoo and with Snatr, and how does support work?

On Droosoo sign-up is free with no card, and you pay only when you sell. On Snatr you get a free 7-day trial with no card, and support is in Arabic on WhatsApp and email.

In Snatr

  • A free 7-day trial; your site closes when it ends without a subscription.
  • Support in Arabic on WhatsApp and email, around the clock.
  • The dashboard is in right-to-left Arabic, with English too.
  • Plan changes go through support, not the dashboard.

In ⁨Droosoo⁩

  • "Start free now" with no credit card.
  • A dedicated support team for students, which they say handles technical problems.
  • Support by email, and an Egyptian phone number on the About page.
  • Recording studios in Egypt "coming soon".

Before you choose, try both yourself. Open an account on each, upload a lesson, and buy the course from your phone as if you were a student. Then ask each platform the same questions: how does the money reach me, where are live classes, and how will I run my center?

How to move from Droosoo to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you stop anything

Open your Snatr account and use the free 7-day trial. Keep your courses on Droosoo running until you are sure everything has moved. Your Snatr site closes when the trial ends without a subscription.

  2. 2

Gather copies of your videos and files

Collect the original copies of your lesson videos and PDF files on your computer. Upload the videos to Snatr so they get encrypted. If you have free lessons on YouTube, you can add their link instead of uploading them.

  3. 3

Build your courses and price them in EGP

Create each course with its lessons and exams, and set its price in EGP. Remember that Snatr's fee is added on top of your price for the student, so choose the price you want the student to see.

  4. 4

    Enroll students who already bought

Enroll each student who bought a course from you on Droosoo by hand from the dashboard, with no commission. Send them your new platform link and tell them to sign up with their phone or email.

  5. 5

    Withdraw your Droosoo balance

Withdraw your earnings on Droosoo before you stop your courses there. If a student is still halfway through a course, let them finish or move them to Snatr by hand.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • A flat subscription even if you sell little: the first plan is 999 EGP a month, and the free trial is 7 days.
  • No app in your name: your platform runs in the phone and computer browser, with no app on Google Play or the App Store.
  • No marketplace that brings students: Snatr does not show your courses to new students; marketing is up to you.
  • Student numbers are tied to the plan: an extra student is charged once when they enroll, at 15, 10 or 7 EGP depending on your plan. Enrollment does not stop. A center student who only attends at the branch, without joining a course or group on the platform, does not count toward the plan.
  • Screen recording is not blocked: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark carries the student's name, which deters, but it is not proof of who recorded.
  • Live classes and a custom domain are on Pro only: at 2,999 EGP a month.
  • No AI assistant for students: and no WhatsApp or SMS messages sent to parents automatically.
  • Plan changes go through support: you cannot change your plan yourself from the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Snatr or Droosoo: which is better for a teacher in Egypt?

Snatr is better for a teacher or a center in Egypt. Its subscription is fixed and takes no share of your sales, and your price reaches you in full. It has live classes inside your platform on the Pro plan, QR card attendance, a parent portal, and top-up cards, coupons and certificates. Droosoo has no subscription and takes 10% of each sale, so the commission grows with your sales, and its pages do not mention live classes or a center.

Droosoo or Snatr: what is the difference?

Droosoo takes 10% of each sale with no subscription, and has apps and a course catalog for students. Snatr is a flat subscription from 999 EGP and your price reaches you in full. It has live classes on Pro, QR card attendance, a parent portal, assistants, top-up cards, coupons and certificates.

What is Droosoo's commission?

10% of every sale, as stated on its pricing page on 16 October 2026. There is no monthly fee and no sign-up fee. Sell 50,000 EGP and you receive 45,000 EGP. A student who paid you outside the platform is added by hand at no fee.

What is Droosoo's official website?

The official site is droosoo.com, and the company behind it is Nabd Software LLC in Cairo. This comparison is about that platform.

Does Droosoo have a mobile app? Does Snatr?

Droosoo has an iPhone and iPad app on the App Store, desktop apps, and an APK file for Android, with Google Play marked "coming soon". Snatr has no app in your name, and students open your platform in the phone's browser.

Does Droosoo block screen recording?

Its home page says screen recording is blocked on every device, and its protected-courses page says there is no "100% magic solution". Snatr does not block screen recording, but it puts the student's name on the video as a moving watermark, which deters, but it is not proof of who recorded.

Can I sell top-up cards or create discount coupons on Snatr?

Yes. You can print cards with codes and sell them for cash, and a code either unlocks a course or group or adds credit to the student's balance on your site. A coupon is a percentage or a fixed amount, for the whole site, a course, a group or a stage, and once per student.

What does Droosoo have that Snatr does not?

Selling on commission with no subscription, apps on iPhone and desktop, a course catalog that students browse, and an AI assistant in every lesson. Money also reaches your bank within one or two business days. In return, Snatr has live classes inside your platform, QR card attendance and a parent portal, and your price reaches you in full.

Can I use Droosoo and Snatr together?

Yes. You could keep a recorded course on Droosoo so new students find you through its catalog, and run your center, live classes and regular students on Snatr. But if both are for the same students, one platform is easier for you and for them.
