Snatr vs Nawaah: A Comparison for Teachers and Tutoring Centers in Egypt (2026)

For a teacher or a center in Egypt, Snatr is the better choice. Students pay online with Fawry, mobile wallets or cards and the course opens on its own, video is encrypted, attendance is by QR card with branches, and lectures and groups are not limited by plan. With 100 students it costs 999 EGP. Nawaah (lms.nawaah.net) is an Egyptian platform for selling with codes, where you collect payments yourself, and its plan for 100 students is 1,250 EGP.

What is the Nawaah platform, and who is it for?

Nawaah is a platform that builds a teacher a website under their own name to sell their lectures, and its website is lms.nawaah.net. It says it is made specifically for Thanaweya Amma teachers and private tutoring in Egypt. The word "Nawaah" is used for many other things, so this comparison is only about lms.nawaah.net.

Nawaah's core idea is selling with codes. You collect from the student yourself, in cash at the center or by Vodafone Cash or InstaPay, and give them a code that opens a lecture, a month or a course. You can print code cards and sell them at the center or a bookshop. Nawaah says your money reaches you directly and does not pass through it.

Nawaah is focused on following students online. You know who opened the lecture and who failed the exam, and the parent sees this from their portal. It has WhatsApp alerts, a smart assistant that answers students from your content, and an Android app under your name. Its team sets up your platform and moves your students for free, and the trial is 14 days.

Nawaah's prices are in EGP, from 450 to 5,900 EGP a month, across 4 plans. Each plan has a limit on students, groups, assistants, lectures and storage. This page was checked against their website on 7 October 2026.

What is not mentioned in Nawaah's features: students paying online by card or Fawry, encrypting the video file, card attendance at the center, and branches. This is where Snatr is different: a platform under your name on snatr.com that brings online payment, the center and live classes into one account. If you are comparing other platforms, see all Snatr comparisons.

How much does Nawaah cost, and what do you get for it compared with Snatr?

Nawaah's first plan is 450 EGP for 50 students and 5 GB. With 100 students, Snatr costs 999 EGP with 50 GB and online payment, and Nawaah costs 1,250 EGP with 25 GB.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students and 50 GB.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students and 150 GB.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students and 300 GB, with live classes and a custom domain.
  • An extra student costs 15, 10 or 7 EGP depending on the plan, and is charged once.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • Basic: 450 EGP a month, up to 50 students, and 5 GB.
  • Growth: 1,250 EGP, up to 200 students, and 25 GB.
  • Pro: 2,750 EGP, up to 600 students, and 100 GB.
  • Academy: 5,900 EGP, up to 2,000 students, and 500 GB.
  • If you pay a year in advance you get two months free, that is 4,500 EGP a year for the first plan.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

Snatr leaves you 251 EGP more a month, with twice the storage

The cheapest Nawaah plan that holds 100 students is Growth, because Basic only goes up to 50 students. If you pay Nawaah a year in advance (12,500 EGP), the month comes to about 1,042 EGP, and the difference drops to about 43 EGP a month. On Snatr the student pays the online payment fee on top of the 300 EGP, so if you want them to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower.

600 students2,999 EGP, and 200 extra students at 7 EGP each, once2,750 EGP (Pro)

These Nawaah prices come from its home page on 7 October 2026, all in EGP. Nawaah says every feature is on every plan and the difference is the number of students. But each plan also has a limit on lectures, groups and assistants.

At 200 students, Snatr's Basic plan at 1,999 EGP has 150 GB, and Nawaah's Growth plan at 1,250 has 25 GB, 50 lectures and 6 groups. At 400 students, Snatr's Pro plan at 2,999 has 300 GB, live classes and a domain, and Nawaah's Pro plan at 2,750 has 100 GB. Snatr also adds online payment, video encryption and center management.

Nawaah's subscription is paid by InstaPay, Vodafone Cash or bank transfer, and you send the receipt from inside the platform. On Snatr, a student who paid you cash at the center is recorded by hand with no commission at all. See Snatr's pricing in detail.

In short: Compare what the subscription gets you: storage, the number of lectures and groups, online payment and video encryption. Around 100 students, Snatr leaves you more money and comes with twice the storage.

What do you get on each plan? Lectures, groups and storage

On Snatr the plan sets the number of students and the storage, and live classes and the custom domain are on Pro only. On Nawaah each plan also limits lectures, groups and assistants, and the first plan has 10 lectures, two groups and 5 GB.

In Snatr

  • The number of lectures, groups and assistants is not limited by plan.
  • Storage from 50 to 300 GB, and if you go over, the extra is charged to you and uploading does not stop.
  • If your students increase, registration does not stop, and each extra student is charged once.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • Basic: 10 lectures, two groups, one assistant and 5 GB.
  • Growth: 50 lectures, 6 groups, 3 assistants and 25 GB.
  • Pro: unlimited lectures, 15 groups, 8 assistants and 100 GB.
  • A single video up to 2 GB.
  • What happens when you reach a limit: not stated on its pages.

A teacher who posts two lectures a week will hit the 10-lecture limit in 5 weeks. And if you teach the second and third years of secondary school, with a center group and an online group for each year, you will need 4 groups, while Basic has two.

The subscription screen in Nawaah's demo shows your usage against each limit, with an upgrade button next to it. On Snatr the account does not lock anything: extra students or storage are charged to you at your plan's overage price.

Does Nawaah accept EGP, Fawry and mobile wallets?

Nawaah's subscription is in EGP, but students do not pay online on the platform. You collect yourself in cash, Vodafone Cash or InstaPay, and give them a code. On Snatr the student pays with Fawry, mobile wallets or a card and the course opens on its own, and you can also sell printed code cards.

In Snatr

  • The student pays by card, with a Fawry code at any outlet within 24 hours, or with a wallet such as Vodafone Cash.
  • The course opens for the student as soon as the payment is confirmed, without you reviewing receipts.
  • The money goes into your Snatr wallet, and you withdraw it to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account.
  • A student who paid cash is recorded by hand with no commission, or you sell them a printed code card.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • You collect yourself: cash at the center, Vodafone Cash or InstaPay.
  • You give the student a code that opens a lecture, a month or a course, or credit they use to open what they choose.
  • Printed code cards you sell at the center or a bookshop, and you see when each code was used.
  • The money reaches you directly and does not pass through Nawaah.
  • Student payment by card or Fawry on the platform: not mentioned.

Nawaah's approach is close to what teachers do today, and it needs no payment gateway. But every payment goes through you or your assistant: receive the money, check the transfer and send the code.

On Snatr, online payment saves you these steps. The online payment fee is added on the student on top of your price, so you receive your full price. The money becomes available to withdraw after a safety period, currently 7 days, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.

Snatr also has codes you print as cards and sell at the center or a bookshop; a code opens a course or group for a number of months or sessions, or adds credit to the student's balance. So if you sell with cards, you can keep doing it the same way on Snatr, with online payment for whoever wants it.

Protecting video from leaks: Nawaah or Snatr?

Snatr encrypts the video file itself, so download tools fail, which has been measured. Nawaah relies on a watermark with the student's name, protected streaming and a device limit, and does not mention encrypting the file.

In Snatr

  • Uploaded video is encrypted, and its key goes to the decryption module in the browser, not to the page.
  • Downloader extensions, "paste the link and download" sites and yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A moving watermark shows the student's name, and it scales with the video in full screen.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • The student's name and the last 4 digits of their phone number move across the video and the PDF.
  • According to its settings, the name does not show if the student uses the player's full-screen button.
  • Video plays inside your platform with protected streaming, and no exposed video link.
  • You choose the number of devices: one, 2, 3 or unlimited.
  • Encrypting the video file is not mentioned.

The measurement on Snatr: without the key, the file plays as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key, it plays cleanly at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original. Nawaah has not published any measurement like this.

Both platforms are frank on one point: filming the screen is not blocked. Nawaah says "no platform can stop leaks 100%". On Snatr, screen recording and a phone filming the screen are not blocked, and the watermark only deters.

On iPhone and iPad, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail there too. But the protection there is somewhat weaker against a technically skilled person. And this protection covers uploaded video only, not a YouTube link. Learn the details of Snatr's video protection.

Live classes and exams on Nawaah and Snatr: what is the difference?

Both platforms have live streaming inside the platform and self-grading exams. Nawaah runs live classes through Jitsi, or a Zoom or Google Meet link. Snatr has its own streaming system on the Pro plan (2,999 EGP a month), and attendance is recorded automatically as present or late.

In Snatr

  • Students watch on your platform, with chat and hand raising, and you can give a student the mic.
  • Assistants can manage the mics, the chat and who gets in.
  • Class attendance is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Self-grading exams, and the grade shows to the student and the parent.
  • No AI assistant, and no review cards.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • Streaming through Jitsi inside the platform, or a Zoom or Google Meet link.
  • After the class you see how many attended, and you can add the class recording.
  • Multiple choice is graded automatically, and essays in a grading screen with a model answer.
  • A smart assistant that answers students' questions from your content, review cards and a whiteboard.

Jitsi is an open-source online meeting program. Nawaah's page says the live class stays inside the platform with no outside links, so the student does not need to open another program.

On Snatr, class recording is a feature you switch on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the students' group. Live streaming is not encrypted like uploaded video: it has a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording works.

The smart assistant and review cards are not on Snatr. In return, Snatr has its own live system with a mic for the student, and class attendance is recorded automatically as present or late.

Run a tutoring center? Nawaah or Snatr for attendance and parents

Snatr has QR card attendance, branches and groups with schedules and capacity, and a parent portal. Nawaah has a parent portal and WhatsApp messages, but card attendance at the center and branches are not mentioned on its pages.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with schedules and seat limits, and an attendance register for every class.
  • Attendance by a printed QR card for each student, or by hand.
  • A parent portal on your website, where the parent sees their child's attendance and grades.
  • Assistants and front-desk staff with their own accounts, and 4 ready-made permission presets.
  • No WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent to the parent automatically.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • Groups with seat limits: 2 on Basic, 6 on Growth and 15 on Pro.
  • Card attendance at the center and branches: not mentioned. The attendance shown is for live classes.
  • The parent sees grades, missed exams and lectures not yet opened.
  • WhatsApp alerts for lectures and results, and reminders to the student or their parent.
  • Assistants with 4 permissions, and each assistant has the groups they follow.

The parent portal in Nawaah's demo tells the parent about every problem and suggests what to do, such as asking their child about a missed exam. Snatr also covers the student who comes to the center: card attendance at the door, and absence and lateness in the class register.

A Snatr QR card carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But a card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is attendance by card, not by fingerprint.

Nawaah's assistants are limited by plan: one on Basic, 3 on Growth and 8 on Pro. On Snatr the number of assistants is not limited by plan, and if you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed that same moment.

In short: If you run a center with branches and students who come in person, Snatr brings attendance and online teaching into one account. See center management on Snatr.

App, domain and student login: what is the difference?

Nawaah builds you an Android app with your name and logo, and students log in with their phone number and a code. Snatr has no app; students log in with their phone number or email and a password, and it has 30 ready-made designs for your website.

In Snatr

  • A site in your name from day one.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan only: the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free.
  • 30 ready-made designs you edit without code, and your first two designs are free.
  • No app under your name: the student opens your platform in the phone's browser.
  • The student logs in with their phone number or email, and you choose the sign-up fields, such as governorate, stage and the parent's number.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • Your link looks like yourname.lms.nawaah.net, and the Nawaah name does not show to your students.
  • An Android app with your name and logo, and installing from the browser on Android and iPhone.
  • The student logs in with their phone number and a code, and the confirmation arrives on WhatsApp.
  • A custom domain that you ask them to connect, with the cost not stated.
  • You choose your logo, your color and a welcome message, and designs to choose from are not mentioned.

A secondary-school student may not have an email they actually use, so logging in with a phone number is easier for them, and both platforms allow it. The difference is that Nawaah sends a code on WhatsApp, while Snatr signs them in with a password.

On Snatr, a custom domain is not available during the trial. Once it is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically, and your Google ranking moves with it. Look through Snatr's designs.

Who sets up the platform and moves your students? And Arabic support

Nawaah sets up your platform and moves your students and lectures for free on every plan. On Snatr you set up your platform yourself from the dashboard in a few short steps, and support is in Arabic on WhatsApp and email.

In Snatr

  • You sign up, confirm your WhatsApp number, enter your website name and upload your logo, then add your courses.
  • Arabic right-to-left dashboard, with English too.
  • Arabic support on WhatsApp and by email at support@snatr.com.
  • 7-day free trial, and the website closes when it ends without a subscription.

In ⁨Nawaah⁩

  • You send them your student sheet and your lectures, and they upload them and create the groups and codes.
  • A 14-day free trial with all features, no card needed.
  • A demo you can enter as a teacher, student or parent, without signing up.
  • You can download your exam questions and codes as Excel, and if you leave they hand over your student data.
  • Support on WhatsApp and email, and you can cancel at any time with no contracts.

On Snatr an online student registers on your platform themselves, pays, and the course opens for them on its own, so you do not need to move their data. A student who already paid you is enrolled in the course by hand with no commission at all.

How to move from Nawaah to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you cancel anything

Open your Snatr account and try it free for 7 days. Keep your Nawaah subscription running until everything has moved over. Note that your Snatr website closes when the trial ends without a subscription.

  2. 2

    Get your data from Nawaah

Nawaah says you can download your exam questions and codes as Excel at any time. If you decide to leave, they hand over your students' data and grades in an Excel file. Ask for that file before you cancel.

  3. 3

    Prepare your videos

Collect the original copies of your lectures on your computer, and upload them to Snatr so they get encrypted. If you have a free lecture on YouTube, you can add its link instead of uploading it.

  4. 4

Create your courses and price them in EGP

Create each course with its lessons and exams. The online payment fee is added on the student on top of your price, so choose the price you want the student to see.

  5. 5

Register your students who have already paid

Send your students your new platform link. For a student who already paid you, enroll them in the course by hand with no commission at all. Note that students on Snatr log in with their phone number or email and a password, not a WhatsApp code.

  6. 6

If you run a center, set up branches and cards

Create your branches and groups with their schedules, and print a QR card for each student. Open an account for each assistant with the permissions you choose, and send each parent their login details for their portal.

  7. 7

Do not renew your Nawaah subscription

Once your students start using your new platform, do not renew your Nawaah subscription. Their terms say access continues until the end of the paid period, after which the space is frozen.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • No WhatsApp messages: no WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent to the student or parent automatically. The parent follows along from their portal on your website.
  • No app under your name: there is no app on Google Play or the App Store. Your platform works in the phone's browser.
  • No AI: there is no smart assistant for students and no review cards.
  • The first plan starts at 999 EGP: Snatr starts at 999 EGP for 100 students and 50 GB, with no smaller plan.
  • The trial is 7 days: with no payment and no card, and your site closes when it ends without a subscription.
  • Screen recording is not blocked: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark puts the student's name on the recording, which deters, but it is not proof.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan only: and not during the trial.
  • Live classes on the Pro plan only: that is 2,999 EGP a month, and Starter and Basic have no live classes.
  • Changing plans goes through support: you do not change your plan yourself from the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Snatr or Nawaah: which is better for a teacher in Egypt?

Snatr is better for a teacher or a center in Egypt. Students pay online with Fawry, mobile wallets or a card and the course opens on its own, video is encrypted, and your center has QR card attendance. With about 100 students, Snatr's subscription is lower: 999 EGP against Nawaah's 1,250 EGP. Both have codes you print as cards and sell at the center, and Nawaah's first plan is 450 EGP for 50 students.

The Nawaah platform or Snatr?

Both give you a platform under your name in EGP and a parent portal. Nawaah is built for selling with codes and following students online, and has WhatsApp alerts and an Android app. Snatr brings online and center together: online payment, encrypted video, its own live streaming on the Pro plan, and branches with QR card attendance. On Snatr the number of lectures, groups and assistants is not limited by plan.

Does Nawaah have a free trial?

Yes, 14 days with all features and no card needed. There is also a demo you can enter as a teacher, student or parent without signing up. Snatr has a 7-day free trial, and your website closes when it ends without a subscription.

Does Nawaah take a commission on my sales?

No. On Nawaah you collect from the student yourself, and the money does not pass through them, so there is no commission. On Snatr you also receive your full price: the online payment fee is added on the student on top of your price, and a student who pays cash is recorded by hand with no commission.

Does Nawaah have QR attendance for a center?

Nawaah's pages do not mention QR card attendance at the center, or branches. The attendance shown in its demo is attendance for live classes. Snatr has attendance by a printed QR card for each student or by hand, branches and groups with schedules, and a register for every class.

How is the Nawaah subscription paid?

By InstaPay, Vodafone Cash or bank transfer. You send the receipt from inside the platform, and they activate your plan after reviewing it. If you pay a year in advance you get two months free.

If my students go over my Snatr plan, will registration stop?

No. A new student registers as normal, and each extra student is charged once: 15 EGP on Starter, 10 on Basic and 7 on Pro. Nawaah does not say on its pages what happens when you reach your plan's limit.

What is the most important thing Nawaah has that Snatr does not?

WhatsApp alerts for students and parents, an Android app under your name, and student login with a code sent on WhatsApp. Also a smart assistant and review cards, free platform setup and student migration, a 14-day trial, and a first plan at 450 EGP. In return, Snatr has online payment that opens the course on its own, encrypted video, QR card attendance with branches, and lectures and groups not limited by plan.
