What is Infinity, and who is it for?

Infinity is a learning platform at infinityapp.cloud, headquartered in Cairo. It describes itself as a "complete operating system" for running your own learning platform under your name, and it connects online and offline teaching.

It has 3 account types, each with its own prices: teacher, trainer or consultant, and academy. This comparison uses the teacher plans, because they are the ones that matter to a school-subject teacher and a tutoring center owner in Egypt.

What sets Infinity apart most clearly is how it charges. You pay a small subscription plus a price for each active student per month, and a student who did not use the platform is not counted. From the first plan it includes a student app, a question bank and a book store.

What its pages do not make clear is the detail of its video protection, the tool used for live streaming, and anything for parents. There is also a plan called "Professional Teacher" marked "coming soon" with no price, which includes an app under your name and AI tools.

Snatr, at snatr.com, does the same thing: a platform under your name for the center and online teaching together. The difference is that the plan has a fixed price with a number of students included. It also has QR card attendance, a parent portal, live classes and encrypted video. If you are comparing other platforms, see all Snatr comparisons.

How much does Infinity cost, and what does each student cost compared with Snatr?

For teachers, Infinity starts at 400 EGP a month, plus 15 EGP for each active student. So 100 students cost 1,900 EGP. On Snatr, those 100 students are included in the Starter plan at 999 EGP.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, with 100 students and 50 GB.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP for 200 students. Pro: 2,999 EGP for 400 students, with live classes.
  • An extra student is paid for once, when they join: 15, 10 or 7 EGP depending on your plan.
  • Your price reaches you in full, and the online payment fee is added on top of your price for the student.
  • The center, assistants and parents are in all three plans.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • Launch: 400 EGP a month or 4,000 a year, plus 15 EGP per active student.
  • Distinguished Teacher: 2,000 EGP a month or 20,000 a year, plus 10 EGP per active student.
  • Professional Teacher: marked "coming soon", with no price.
  • An active student, by their definition: one who has access to the content, or used the platform during the month.
  • No commission on your sales, and the payment gateway fees are on you.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

Snatr leaves you about 900 EGP more a month, and about 2,000 more if you need the full center system

Infinity's monthly prices are from its teacher pricing page on 7 October 2026. The "complete" center system and assistants are in the Distinguished Teacher plan, and in Launch the center system is "basic". If you pay Infinity a year in advance, the subscription works out to about 333 or 1,667 EGP a month, and the price per active student stays the same. On Snatr the student pays the online payment fee on top of the 300 EGP, so if you want them to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower.

Active studentsSnatrInfinity LaunchInfinity Distinguished Teacher
100 students999 EGP (about 10 per student)1,900 EGP (19 per student)3,000 EGP (30 per student)
200 students1,999 EGP (about 10 per student)3,400 EGP (17 per student)4,000 EGP (20 per student)
400 students2,999 EGP (about 7.5 per student)6,400 EGP (16 per student)6,000 EGP (15 per student)

On Infinity every active student adds 15 EGP to the Launch bill each month, so the bill grows with every new student. On Snatr the 999 EGP covers 100 students, along with the center, assistants and a parent portal.

As your students grow, the gap grows in Snatr's favor. On Snatr an extra student is paid for once, when they join. If you have 120 students on the Starter plan, you pay for 20 extra students at 15 EGP, which is 300 EGP one time. On Infinity every active student is counted again every month.

Even if you pay Infinity a year in advance, the cheapest option for 400 active students is the Distinguished Teacher plan. Its subscription works out to about 1,667 EGP a month, plus 4,000 EGP for the students, about 5,667 EGP in total. Snatr's Pro plan is 2,999 EGP for the same number. See Snatr's pricing in detail.

In short: The table uses monthly payment for both. Snatr is calculated with the plan that exactly fits the number of students: Starter for 100, Basic for 200 and Pro for 400.

Does Infinity accept payment in EGP, Fawry and mobile wallets?

Yes, Infinity's pages mention Fawry, Visa, Mastercard, mobile wallets and subscription codes. Snatr also has cards, Fawry and mobile wallets in EGP. The difference is in who pays the payment fees, and in how you withdraw your earnings.

In Snatr

  • The student pays by card (Visa and Mastercard), or with a Fawry code within 24 hours.
  • Or with a mobile wallet such as Vodafone Cash, all in EGP.
  • The money goes into your Snatr wallet and becomes available to withdraw after 7 days, for now.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.
  • A student who paid cash at the center is enrolled manually, with no commission at all.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • "Secure payment gateways (Fawry, Visa, Mastercard)" on the teacher page.
  • Cards, wallets, codes and Apple Pay on the features pages.
  • "Link your bank account" and "weekly earnings withdrawal".
  • External payment gateway fees are on you, depending on the company you choose.
  • Withdrawal to Vodafone Cash and InstaPay, and the payment fee rate: not mentioned.

Before you subscribe to Infinity, ask them two questions. First: whose payment gateway is it, and do you need to open an account with a payment company? Second: what percentage does it charge on each transaction? The answer makes a difference to what actually reaches you.

Codes are a real advantage for a student with no card or wallet, because they can subscribe with a code, and both platforms have them. On Snatr you print cards with codes and sell them for cash, and a code unlocks a course or a group for a number of months or classes, or adds credit to the student's balance on your site. Students can still pay by card, Fawry or wallet, or pay you cash and you enroll them.

Video protection on Infinity and Snatr: which one stops downloads?

Snatr encrypts the video you upload, so well-known download tools fail on it, and this is measured. Infinity writes "secure player", "watermark" and "full protection for your content", and does not mention encryption or any measurement.

In Snatr

  • Uploaded video is encrypted, and its key goes to a locked component inside the browser, not to the page.
  • Download extensions, "paste the link and download" sites and yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A moving watermark on the video that shows the student's name.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • "Protect your videos with a watermark and a secure player" on the academy plans page.
  • "Full protection for your content and prevention of sharing materials outside the platform" on the teacher page.
  • There is a student app and a desktop app, and how they are protected is not explained.
  • File encryption, number of devices and screen recording: not mentioned.

The measurement on Snatr: without the key the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key it comes out intact at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original. Infinity does not publish any measurement like this.

On iPhone and iPad, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail on them too. But the protection there is a little weaker against someone with technical expertise. This protection covers uploaded video only, not a YouTube link.

Screen recording is not blocked on Snatr, nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark deters, because the student's name shows on the recording, but it is not proof. Ask Infinity the same question about its app before you choose. Learn the details of video protection on Snatr.

Live classes and exams: what does Infinity have, and what does Snatr have?

Snatr has live classes from inside your platform on the Pro plan, with no Zoom or Google Meet. Infinity says "direct integration with live streaming tools" without naming the tool. Both have auto-graded exams.

In Snatr

  • Students watch on your platform, with chat and raised hands, and you can give a student the mic.
  • Assistants moderate the mics, the chat and who gets into the class.
  • Class attendance is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Class recording is a feature that gets switched on, and the recording is added to the students' group.
  • Exams and assignments are graded automatically, and the grade shows up for the student and the parent.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • "Virtual classrooms": a smart whiteboard, screen sharing, and class recordings for students who missed them.
  • Live streaming is not listed in the teacher plans table.
  • Assignments, tests and a question bank in all teacher plans.
  • Certificates are "basic" in Launch and "advanced" in Distinguished Teacher.
  • AI grading and question generation in the "coming soon" plan.

If you run live classes every week for your groups, ask Infinity: which tool is used for streaming, and in which plan? In their trainer and academy plans, streaming is listed only from the second plan up. On Snatr live classes are on Pro, and the class, the attendance and the group are in the same place.

Live classes on Snatr are not encrypted like uploaded video. They carry a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording still works. Snatr has no question bank, and certificates are on both.

Infinity or Snatr for the center and online teaching?

Both bring the center and online teaching together in one system. But Snatr has QR card attendance, branches, a parent portal and assistants in every plan. On Infinity the center system is "basic" in the first plan, and assistants start from the 2,000 EGP plan.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with schedules and seat counts, and an attendance register for every class.
  • Attendance with a printed QR card for each student, or manually.
  • A parent portal on your site, where parents see their child's attendance and grades.
  • Assistants and front-desk staff with their own accounts, and 4 ready-made permission templates.
  • All of this in all three plans, with online teaching in the same account.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • "Center system: track attendance and absence, groups, and offline".
  • The center system is "basic" in Launch and "complete" from Distinguished Teacher.
  • "Managing supervisors and assistants" in Distinguished Teacher, at 2,000 EGP a month.
  • Multiple branches are mentioned on the academies page, not in the teacher plans.
  • QR card and parent portal: not mentioned.

The QR card on Snatr carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But the card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is attendance by card, not by fingerprint.

The four assistant templates are front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed that same moment.

Infinity's pages do not explain the difference between the "basic" and the "complete" center system. Ask them before you choose Launch if you have a center.

In short: If you have a center, compare Snatr with Infinity's Distinguished Teacher plan, not with Launch. For 100 students: 999 EGP on Snatr, and 3,000 EGP on Infinity. See center management on Snatr.

How do parents follow their child on Infinity and on Snatr?

On Snatr, parents have a portal on your site where they see their child's attendance and grades. Infinity's teacher pages do not mention anything for parents.

In Snatr

  • Parents log in from your own site, in the browser.
  • They see their child's attendance at the center and online, and their exam grades.
  • If they have more than one child with you, they see them all from the same account.
  • You create their account and give them the password.
  • No WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent to them automatically.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • The teacher pages and the teacher plans table say nothing about parents.
  • The academies page has a general line: "strengthening ongoing engagement with parents".
  • Notifications and messages to students in the app or by email are mentioned.

For school students, parents want to know whether their child attended and what they scored on the exam. If that matters for your students, ask Infinity: what do parents see, and where?

The parent portal on a teacher's site on Snatr: a card for each child with the attendance rate and number of times present, late and absent, and a side menu with attendance, absences, grades, payments and notifications

A platform and an app under your name: Infinity or Snatr?

From the first plan, Infinity has a student app called Infinity Player and a desktop app. An app under your own name is in a plan that is still "coming soon". Snatr has no app, but it has a site under your name, 30 ready-made designs and a custom domain.

In Snatr

  • A site in your name from day one.
  • 30 ready-made designs where you change the text, colors and images without code, and the first two designs are free.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan: the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free.
  • No mobile app: students open your platform in their phone's browser.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • Launch: an "Infinity website" and an "Infinity app" for students.
  • A desktop app in all teacher plans.
  • An app under your name in the stores and a site builder in "Professional Teacher", marked "coming soon".
  • "Your own landing page with a custom domain" on the teacher page, with no plan stated.

Infinity's app is called Infinity, not your name, until the Professional Teacher plan launches. On Snatr, students see your name and your design from the moment they open your site.

On Snatr, the custom domain is not available during the trial. Once it is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically, and your Google ranking moves with it. Browse Snatr's designs.

Question bank and book store: Infinity or Snatr?

Infinity has things Snatr does not: a question bank, a book store and more than one teacher per account. You can also change your plan yourself from the dashboard. Codes, coupons and certificates are on both.

In Snatr

  • No question bank to choose from.
  • No store for books and study notes, but there are top-up cards with codes and discount coupons.
  • Printable completion certificates, with a QR code to verify them.
  • One teacher per platform, with assistants who have permissions.
  • Plan changes go through support, not the dashboard.

In ⁨Infinity⁩

  • A question bank you organize by subject, lesson and difficulty.
  • A book store in all teacher plans, for selling books and files.
  • Subscription codes and discount coupons.
  • "Add assistants or teachers and set their permissions".
  • You change your plan yourself, and the differences are calculated automatically.

If your work is classes, groups, attendance and parents, Snatr does more and costs less, and it also has codes for selling subscriptions.

How to move from Infinity to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you cancel anything

Open your account on Snatr and try it free for 7 days. Keep Infinity running until you are sure everything has moved over. Note that your site on Snatr is closed when the trial ends without a subscription.

  2. 2

Get copies of your videos and files ready

Gather the original copies of your lesson videos and files on your computer. Upload the videos to Snatr so they get encrypted, and a free lesson can be a YouTube link.

  3. 3

Create your courses and set their prices in EGP

Create each course with its lessons and exams, and set its price in EGP. The online payment fee is added on top of your price for the student, so choose the price you want the student to see.

  4. 4

Enroll your current students without them paying again

Student accounts do not move between platforms on their own, so ask Infinity how to get a copy of your students' data. For a student who has already paid you, enroll them manually in the course with no commission at all, and send them your platform's link.

  5. 5

If you have a center, set up branches and cards

Create your branches and groups with their schedules, add your center students and print a QR card for each one. Open an account for each assistant with the permissions you choose, and a portal account for each parent.

  6. 6

Cancel Infinity at the right time

Infinity's Help Center says you can cancel at any time, and your features stay until the end of the period you paid for. So if you paid a year in advance, plan the move for near the end of it.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • No student app: your platform runs in the phone and computer browser.
  • The subscription is fixed: the Starter plan is 999 EGP even if you have few active students.
  • No question bank: there is no store of questions to pick from for exams.
  • No store: you cannot sell books or study notes as standalone products.
  • One teacher per platform: no multiple teachers with split earnings in the same account.
  • Screen recording is not blocked: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark puts the student's name on the recording, which deters, but it is not proof.
  • No parent messages: no WhatsApp or SMS is sent automatically. Parents follow along from their portal on your site.
  • No Excel import: you add center students one by one from the dashboard.
  • Plan changes go through support: not the dashboard.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan only: and it is not available during the trial.

Frequently asked questions

Snatr or Infinity: which is better for a teacher in Egypt?

Snatr is better for a teacher or a center owner in Egypt. 100 students cost you 999 EGP a month, against from 1,900 EGP on Infinity, and an extra student on Snatr is paid for once, not every month. Every plan has QR card attendance, a parent portal, assistants and encrypted video. Infinity charges a subscription plus a price for every active student, and has a student app and a question bank.

Which Infinity is this comparison about?

It is the Infinity platform at infinityapp.cloud, headquartered in Cairo. There are other platforms around the world called Infinity, and they have nothing to do with this comparison.

Is Infinity Egyptian?

Infinity's contact page says its headquarters is in Cairo, and its prices are in Egyptian pounds. Its About page says its founder and CEO is Hazem Emad. Snatr is also Egyptian, with prices in EGP.

What does "active student" mean on Infinity?

According to Infinity's pricing page, an active student is one who has active access to the content, or used the platform during the month. So you pay only for the students who used the platform that month. On Snatr the plan includes a fixed number of students at a fixed price.

Is there a free trial on Infinity and on Snatr?

Yes, on both. Infinity's pricing page has a "Start free" button without stating the trial length, so ask them before you sign up. You can also book a live demo with them before subscribing. Snatr has a free 7-day trial, and your site is closed when it ends without a subscription.

Does Infinity take a commission on my sales?

No. Infinity says "no commission on your direct sales", and charges you the subscription and the active-student price. Their Help Center says external payment gateway fees are on you, depending on the company you choose. On Snatr your price reaches you in full, and the online payment fee is added to the student's price.

Does Infinity have a mobile app for students?

Yes. All of Infinity's teacher plans include a student app called Infinity Player and a desktop app. An app under your name in the stores is in the "Professional Teacher" plan, marked "coming soon". Snatr has no app, and students open your platform in their phone's browser.

If my students go over my Snatr plan, does enrollment stop?

No, enrollment does not stop. An extra student is paid for once, when they join: 15 EGP on Starter, 10 on Basic and 7 on Pro. On Infinity there is no limit on the number of students, but every active student is counted every month.

What is the most important thing Infinity has that Snatr does not?

A student app for phone and computer, a question bank and a book store. Also more than one teacher per account, changing your plan yourself, and paying only for active students. Certificates, codes and coupons are on both platforms. In return, Snatr has QR card attendance, a parent portal and assistants from the first plan.

Can I use Infinity and Snatr together?

You can, but you will pay two subscriptions, and your students and their parents will get confused between two links. If the center and online teaching are for the same students, one platform is easier for you and for them.
