Snatr vs Dimadrasty: A Comparison for Teachers and Tutoring Centers in Egypt (2026)

Dimadrasty has no subscription fee today, but their website does not say when the free period ends or what the plans will cost afterwards. If you move your students onto it, you will pay whatever price is set later while already tied to it. On Snatr you know from day one what you pay and what you get.

On Snatr, if your students exceed your plan, sign-ups never stop. Each extra student is charged once when they enroll, at your plan's extra-student price. So if you have 120 students on the Starter plan, the 20 extra cost 300 EGP, paid once.

With 400 students, Snatr's Pro plan costs you about 7.5 EGP per student a month. On Dimadrasty you would be on the "Academy plan", whose price is not published, and use is currently free.

If you are going to try Dimadrasty, ask them before you move your students: can a student pay with Fawry or Vodafone Cash? And who does the money go to, and how long until it reaches you? The answers to these questions were not on their website on 7 October 2026.

Transfer with receipt works with a few students who are used to transferring to you. But if 100 students transfer every month, that means 100 receipts to check yourself every month. On Snatr the course opens automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed.

On Snatr, money becomes available to withdraw after a safety period, currently 7 days, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP. You do not need to open an account with any payment company.

At Snatr we measured the protection: without the key, the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key, it comes out intact at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original.

A watermark deters, but on its own it does not stop anyone from downloading the video. What stops downloading is encryption, and Dimadrasty does not mention that it encrypts.

On iPhone and iPad, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail there too. But the protection there is somewhat weaker against a technically skilled person. And the protection covers uploaded video only, not a YouTube link.

Dimadrasty generates multiple-choice questions with AI, and they themselves say you review every question before publishing it. On Snatr you write your own questions, and the exam is graded automatically with its timer on the server. The mark shows to the student and to the parent in their portal.

Live streams on Snatr are not encrypted like uploaded video: they carry a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording works. Class recording is a feature that gets switched on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the student group.

Snatr's QR card carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But the card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so it is card attendance, not a fingerprint.

The four assistant presets are front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. You choose which screens each assistant sees.

Each platform on Snatr is for one teacher. Dimadrasty allows more than one teacher under one academy's name.

If parents ask you every week "did my son attend?", Snatr's portal answers for you, with attendance lesson by lesson and marks. Dimadrasty mentions a result notification and WhatsApp reminders, and does not mention a portal where the parent follows attendance.

Dimadrasty has a "Find a teacher" page, and on 7 October 2026 it listed 7 teachers. Snatr has no page like it, so marketing is up to you. But your site shows up on Google under your own name, and every site has its own sitemap.

On Dimadrasty, if you change your link's name, the old links keep working and redirect to the new one. On Snatr, once the custom domain is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically and keeps your Google ranking. The custom domain is not available during the trial.

Terms matter for a teacher who is about to put their students and money on a platform. They are what say who receives the money, when it reaches you, and what happens when the free period ends. So if you choose Dimadrasty, ask them for the terms in writing first.
