What is Kajabi, and who is it for?

Kajabi is an American platform that brings together, in one account, everything an expert needs in order to sell. It has courses, community, coaching sessions, memberships, marketing emails, a website and a checkout page.

You pay it a monthly subscription in dollars, and the cheapest plan is $179 a month. It does not take a share of your sales, but the payment company's fees stay on you.

According to its site, more than 100,000 businesses have been built on Kajabi, and experts have earned more than $12 billion on it. These are figures published on their site, not ours.

Kajabi describes itself as being for coaches, educators, therapists, creators and anyone with expertise. Its strength is marketing: it helps you build an audience with email and sales pages, and sell to it in the countries where its payment gateway works. Nothing in its features covers attendance, branches or parents.

Snatr, at snatr.com, is built for a different case: a teacher in Egypt who sells in EGP, has students online and students at a tutoring center, and wants to manage them from one place. If you are comparing Snatr with other platforms, see all Snatr comparisons.

Does Kajabi work for a teacher in Egypt who sells to students in EGP?

Hardly. Kajabi Payments is available in the US, Canada, Australia, the UAE, the UK and European countries, and Egypt is not one of them. Stripe does not open accounts in Egypt, which leaves PayPal, with no Fawry and no mobile wallets.

In Snatr

  • The student pays in EGP by card, with a Fawry code within 24 hours, or with a wallet such as Vodafone Cash.
  • The money goes into your Snatr wallet and becomes available to withdraw after a safety period, currently 7 days.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.
  • A student who paid you cash at the center is enrolled manually, with no commission at all.
  • You do not need an account with any payment company, or a company registered outside Egypt.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • Kajabi Payments is available if your business is registered in 6 regions, and the UAE is the only Arab country among them.
  • The alternative is Stripe, and Stripe does not open accounts in Egypt.
  • PayPal works with Kajabi, and the student pays with a PayPal account or as a guest.
  • No Fawry, no Vodafone Cash, and no Egyptian wallet of any kind.
  • In supported countries: Apple Pay and Google Pay, and installments with Klarna and Afterpay.

This is according to Kajabi's Help Center in October 2026. Stripe is an American payment company, and the list of countries on its official page does not include Egypt.

In countries without Kajabi Payments, such as Egypt, Kajabi does not charge an extra fee if you take payments through Stripe or PayPal. But the payment company's own fees stay on you.

You could also connect another payment tool through Zapier, so it opens the course for the student after they pay. But that is technical work, and it has to be set up for each offer separately. If PayPal works for you in Egypt, check its fees and how to withdraw from it on PayPal's own page.

In short: If your business is registered in the UAE, Kajabi Payments is available to you, and this does not apply to you.

Is Kajabi worth the price for an Arab teacher? The math in EGP

For a teacher whose students are in Egypt, usually not. Kajabi's lowest plan is 9,390 EGP a month, which is the money from your first 31 students if each pays 300 EGP. Snatr starts at 999 EGP.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB, and each extra student at 15 EGP.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB, and each extra student at 10 EGP.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, each extra student at 7 EGP, plus live classes and a custom domain.
  • Your price reaches you in full, and the online payment fee is added on top of your price for the student.
  • The features are the same in all three plans, except live classes and the custom domain on Pro. And enrollment does not stop if your students grow.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • Basic: $179 (9,390 EGP), 5 courses, and 2,500 contacts (students or subscribers).
  • Growth: $249 (13,063 EGP), 50 courses, and 25,000 contacts.
  • Pro: $499 (26,178 EGP), unlimited courses, and an app under your name.
  • No commission on your sales, but the payment company's fees are on you.
  • Paying a year in advance saves 20%, and there is no free plan.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

Snatr leaves you about 8,400 EGP more a month

The dollar is taken at 52.46 EGP, the Central Bank of Egypt selling rate on 7 October 2026. The difference is 8,391 EGP a month, about 100,700 EGP a year. If you pay Kajabi a year in advance, you pay 90,021 EGP at once, and 22,498 EGP reaches you each month. On Snatr, a student who pays online pays the payment fee on top of the 300 EGP.

Kajabi itself asks on its pricing page: "Isn't Kajabi expensive for a course platform?" Its answer is that it is indeed expensive if all you need is a course platform. Its argument is that it replaces your email tool, website, community and checkout page.

The calculation below assumes you can receive students' payments on Kajabi at all. In Egypt that means only PayPal, or a technical connection to another payment tool. PayPal's fees are deducted from you and are not counted in the example.

With 400 students paying 300 EGP, Snatr's Pro plan leaves you 117,001 EGP a month. Kajabi's Basic leaves you 110,610 EGP before payment fees, but it only includes 5 courses.

An extra student beyond your plan is charged once when they enroll, not every month, and only 7 EGP on Pro. If you have a large number of students, Snatr has a custom plan priced by agreement. Either way, Kajabi does not accept Fawry or mobile wallets from your students. See Snatr's pricing in detail.

Video protection on Kajabi and Snatr: which one stops downloads?

Snatr encrypts the video you upload, so well-known download tools cannot download it. Kajabi hosts video with no stated storage limit, but its Help Center does not mention encryption, a watermark or download blocking.

In Snatr

  • The video is encrypted, and the key to unlock it goes to a locked component inside the browser, not to the page.
  • Download extensions, "paste the link and download" sites and programs like yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A moving watermark with the student's name, so any screen recording shows their name.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
  • Storage is 50 to 300 GB depending on the plan, and extra storage is charged to you.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • Video is stored with a company called Wistia, at no extra cost to you.
  • The maximum size for a single file is 4 GB, and there is no storage limit on the pricing page.
  • You can add a download button for the student if you want to.
  • Key-based encryption or a watermark with the student's name: not mentioned in the Help Center.
  • A device limit or blocking account sharing between students: not mentioned either.

At Snatr we measured the protection: without the key the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of 10.6 dB. With the key it comes out intact at 59.9 dB. The higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original. Kajabi does not publish any measurement like this.

Screen recording is not blocked on Snatr, nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark only deters, because the student's name shows on the recording.

On iPhone, iPad and Safari, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail there too. But the protection is weaker against someone with technical expertise. This protection covers uploaded video only, so if a lesson is a YouTube link, it is not encrypted.

In short: Full details are on Snatr's video protection page.

Live classes and exams: what does Kajabi have, and what does Snatr have?

Both have live classes from inside the platform, auto-graded exams and completion certificates. On Snatr live classes are on the Pro plan, and the student's class attendance is recorded automatically. Kajabi has breakout rooms for small groups.

In Snatr

  • Students watch on your platform, with chat and raised hands, and you can give a student the mic.
  • Class attendance is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Assistants can moderate the mics, the chat and who gets in.
  • Exams and assignments are graded automatically, and grades show up for the student and the parent.
  • Printable completion certificates, with a QR code that opens a verification page on your site.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • Live streaming inside the course from the browser, at no extra cost, with chat and screen sharing.
  • A session holds 200 participants at most, with breakout rooms for small groups.
  • The recording reaches you by email, and you can turn it into a course lesson.
  • Quizzes graded automatically for multiple choice, and you grade written questions by hand.
  • Course completion certificates sent to the student automatically.

Kajabi's Help Center does not mention automatic class attendance. Raised hands are mentioned in the community's live room.

Class recording on Snatr is a feature that gets switched on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the students' group.

Live classes on Snatr are not encrypted like uploaded video. They carry a watermark and a temporary link, but screen recording still works.

Run a center? Attendance, branches and parents on Kajabi and Snatr

Kajabi has no center management, because it is built for selling online. Snatr has branches, groups, an attendance register, a parent portal and assistants, with online teaching in the same account.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with their schedules and each group's capacity, plus classes and an attendance register.
  • Attendance with a printed QR card for each student or manually, and the code is signed and cannot be forged.
  • Parents see their child's attendance and grades from a portal on your site.
  • Accounts for assistants and front-desk staff, with 4 ready-made permission templates.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • The Help Center has no branches, no attendance register and no parent portal.
  • The closest thing to groups: a Cohort course with fixed dates, on Growth and Pro only.
  • You can sell an in-person class as an offer without a course, but with no attendance register.
  • Team roles such as assistant and customer support, with unlimited assistants.

On Snatr, the four assistant templates are front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed immediately.

The QR card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is attendance by card, not by fingerprint.

If you have a center and choose Kajabi, you will need a notebook or another program next to it for attendance and parents.

In short: Details are on Snatr's center management page.

A platform under your name: custom domain, design and app

Both give you a site under your name. On Kajabi the custom domain is in every plan and you connect it yourself; on Snatr it is on the Pro plan and the Snatr team connects it. Kajabi has a mobile app, and Snatr does not.

In Snatr

  • Your platform starts on a site in your name.
  • Custom domain such as mybrand.com on the Pro plan; the Snatr team buys and connects it, and the first year is free.
  • 30 ready-made designs where you change the colors, text and images without code. The first two designs are free.
  • No mobile app, and students open your platform in their phone's browser.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • Custom domain in every plan, and you buy it and change its settings yourself.
  • Kajabi branding stays on your site on Basic, and is removed from Growth up.
  • The Kajabi app for students in every plan, but it is called Kajabi, not your name.
  • An app under your name on Pro, or for $199 extra a month with any plan.
  • An app under your name needs a developer account with Apple and Google.

On Kajabi, the domain is connected from the company you bought it from, using technical settings called Nameservers or CNAME. If you cancel your subscription, the domain is disconnected automatically.

On Snatr, the custom domain is not available during the trial. Once it is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically, and your Google ranking moves with it.

The $199 for an app under your name is about 10,440 EGP a month, on top of the plan price.

In short: Browse Snatr's designs before you choose; each design has a full preview.

Email marketing, sales pages and community: what Kajabi has and what Snatr has

Kajabi has unlimited marketing emails and sales pages, ready-made sales funnels and a student community, and Snatr does not have these. Snatr focuses on what a teacher in Egypt needs: payment in EGP, the center and parents.

In Snatr

  • No email marketing, no separate sales pages and no sales funnels.
  • No community or forum for students inside the platform.
  • Discount coupons, but no affiliate marketing.
  • Marketing is up to you, and you share your platform's link with your students yourself.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • Unlimited marketing emails, landing pages and sales funnels in every plan.
  • One-off emails or automated email sequences, with ready-made templates.
  • A community for your students with channels, challenges and a live room.
  • Coupons, upsells at checkout, and affiliate marketing from Growth up.

Think about your students before you choose based on marketing tools. A secondary-school student does not arrive from an ad to a sales page. They come from the center, the WhatsApp group and their parents.

These Kajabi tools are built for people selling professional courses to adults through Facebook ads, and they are a big part of its price. If you do not need them, you pay for them every month without using them.

Does Kajabi support Arabic and right-to-left text?

No. Kajabi's dashboard is in English or Spanish only, and Arabic is not one of the site languages it translates its automatic text into. Snatr is in Arabic, from the dashboard to support.

In Snatr

  • The dashboard is built in Arabic, right to left, and also comes in English if you prefer.
  • Your site can be in Arabic, English or both.
  • Support in Arabic on WhatsApp and by email at support@snatr.com.

In ⁨Kajabi⁩

  • The dashboard is in English or Spanish, and the teacher's mobile apps are in English only.
  • The site's automatic text comes in 16 languages, and Arabic is not one of them.
  • Text you write yourself can be in Arabic, and you translate it by hand.
  • Right-to-left text is not mentioned in the Help Center.
  • The Help Center is in English and Spanish, and support is by chat and email.

So a student could read the course description in Arabic if you wrote it. But the checkout page and their account settings will appear in another of the 16 languages. This is according to the site language article in Kajabi's Help Center in October 2026.

In short: If you or your assistants are not comfortable in English, Kajabi's dashboard will wear you out every day.

How to move from Kajabi to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you cancel anything

Open your account on Snatr and try it free for 7 days. Keep Kajabi running until you are sure everything has moved over. Note that your site on Snatr is closed when the trial ends without a subscription.

  2. 2

    Download your videos from Kajabi

Kajabi does not export a full copy of a course. You download each video separately: open the lesson, and from the Video Actions menu under the video choose Download Video. Keep your own copies of the PDFs.

  3. 3

Export your students and sales data

From the Contacts page in Kajabi, select your students and export them to a CSV file that is sent to your email, and its link expires after 3 days. From the Transactions page you can export your sales, so you know who paid for what.

  4. 4

Create your courses and upload the videos

Create your courses and their lessons from the dashboard, and set each course's price in EGP. Each lesson can be a video you upload to Snatr, which gets encrypted, or a YouTube link. The protection covers uploaded video only.

For a student who has already paid you, add them from the students screen and enroll them in the course manually, with no commission at all. Then send them the link to your new platform on WhatsApp.

  6. 6

Cancel your students' subscriptions before closing Kajabi

When you cancel Kajabi, your students' monthly subscriptions are not cancelled automatically, and they keep being charged. Cancel each subscription yourself from Sales, then Payments, then Subscriptions, and then cancel your account. Your Kajabi site closes on the last day of your billing period, and customer data may be deleted after 90 days.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • No email marketing or sales pages: Snatr has no marketing emails, no landing pages and no sales funnels.
  • No app under your name: there is no mobile app on Google Play or the App Store. Students open your platform in their phone's browser.
  • No student community: no forum or discussion channels inside the platform.
  • No affiliate marketing: and no AI-generated questions either.
  • No installments: students cannot pay in installments with valU or bank installment plans.
  • No marketplace that brings you new students: marketing is up to you.
  • Screen recording is not blocked: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark makes the student's name visible, but it does not stop them.
  • iPhone, iPad and Safari: the video plays normally, but its protection is weaker against someone with technical expertise.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan only: and it is not available during the trial.
  • Plan changes go through support: you do not change your plan yourself from the dashboard.
  • Egyptian pounds only: online payment on Snatr is in EGP. A student abroad pays with an international card and their bank converts the amount, but there is no charging in dollars and no PayPal.

Frequently asked questions

Kajabi pricing: how much are Kajabi's plans in 2026?

Kajabi has 3 plans: Basic at $179 a month, Growth at $249 and Pro at $499. If you pay a year in advance, the monthly price drops to $143, $199 and $399. This is according to Kajabi's pricing page on 7 October 2026. At the Central Bank of Egypt rate on the same day, the cheapest plan is about 9,390 EGP a month.

Is there a cheaper Arabic alternative to Kajabi (Kajabi alternatives)?

Yes. If you are a teacher in Egypt, Snatr is the better alternative. It is an Egyptian platform in Arabic, with a subscription starting at 999 EGP a month, about a tenth of Kajabi's lowest plan. It has a site under your name, courses, encrypted video, exams, and payment by Fawry, mobile wallets and cards, with live classes on the Pro plan (2,999 EGP a month). It also has center management, attendance and parents. What it does not have: email marketing, sales pages, an app and a student community.

Teachable vs Kajabi: what is the difference, and which is cheaper?

Teachable's lowest plan is $39 a month, but it takes 7.5% of every sale, and from the $89 plan up there is no commission. Kajabi starts at $179 with no commission, and has email marketing, sales pages and community in every plan. Both charge their subscription in dollars, and neither one's payment gateway is available in Egypt. For a teacher in Egypt, Snatr starts at 999 EGP, and students pay by Fawry and mobile wallets. See the Snatr vs Teachable comparison.

Thinkific vs Kajabi: what is the difference?

Thinkific's lowest plan is $54 a month, and Kajabi's is $179. Kajabi combines email marketing, sales pages, community and live streaming in all its plans, and says this replaces several other tools. Both charge their subscription in dollars. For a teacher whose students are in Egypt, Snatr has EGP payments, the center and parents in one subscription. See the Snatr vs Thinkific comparison.

Does Kajabi have a free plan or a free trial?

Kajabi has no free plan. There is a free 14-day trial, and every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The trial requires a card, and Kajabi places a temporary hold on it to verify it, then releases it. A few things are locked during the trial, such as bulk contact imports.

How do you pay for a Kajabi subscription from Egypt?

Kajabi's subscription is in dollars, so you need a card that pays online in dollars. At the Central Bank of Egypt rate on 7 October 2026, the lowest plan ($179) is about 9,390 EGP a month. Your bank may also charge fees for paying in a foreign currency. Snatr's subscription is in EGP and starts at 999 EGP.

Does Kajabi take a share of my sales?

No. Kajabi does not take a share of your sales on any plan, but the payment company's fees stay on you. In countries that have Kajabi Payments, anyone who uses Stripe instead pays Kajabi an extra fee of 0.5% to 2% depending on the plan. Egypt is not one of those countries, so that extra fee does not apply to you.

Does Snatr take a share of my sales?

No. On Snatr your price reaches you in full. If the student pays online, the payment fee is added on top of your price for them and is not deducted from you. A student who pays you cash is enrolled manually with no commission at all.

If my students go over my Snatr plan, will enrollment close?

No, enrollment does not close. Each extra student is charged at your plan's extra-student rate: 15 EGP on Starter, 10 EGP on Basic and 7 EGP on Pro.

Can I try Snatr before I pay?

Yes, there is a free 7-day trial. If the trial ends without a subscription, your site is closed. The custom domain is not available during the trial.
