What is Adah (adah.io), and who is it for?

Adah (adah.io) is an Arabic platform that builds a teacher or trainer a learning platform under their own name, logo and colors. You upload your video lessons and organize them into units, enroll your students, track their progress and issue completion certificates. Its website describes it as "a learning management solution for teachers and trainers".

"Adah" means "tool" in Arabic, a common word, so this page is about the platform at adah.io specifically. Adah itself does not sell courses. It builds the platform, and you are the one who sells on it.

Adah's prices are in Jordanian dinars, and the math demo platform on its website has courses for Tawjihi. Its demo checkout page has CliQ, Zain Cash and Mada, which are payment methods in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. So the platform is built mainly for the Jordanian and Gulf markets. The website does not say which country the company is registered in.

On Adah you can see the platform before you subscribe. Its website has two demo platforms you can browse as if you were a student, from the course page all the way to the checkout page, and every page on them says it is an illustrative example. It also has large video storage, a custom domain on both plans, and an AI assistant for students announced as "coming soon".

What Adah does not mention is the Egyptian teacher's day: paying in EGP with Fawry and mobile wallets, live classes, a tutoring center with its branches, groups and attendance sheet, and the parent who wants to follow their child. Snatr at snatr.com also builds you a platform under your name, but it was built for teachers and centers in Egypt from the start. If you are comparing other platforms, see all Snatr comparisons, or Snatr vs Manhali for another Arabic platform priced in a currency other than EGP.

Does Adah (adah.io) accept payment in EGP, Fawry and mobile wallets?

Not stated. Adah's pages do not say how students pay, and the checkout page on its demo platform is in dinars with Mada, Zain Cash, CliQ and PayPal. On Snatr, students pay in EGP with Fawry, mobile wallets and cards.

In Snatr

  • Students pay in EGP by card, Visa and Mastercard.
  • Fawry: the student gets a code and pays it at any Fawry outlet within 24 hours.
  • Mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or your bank account, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.
  • A student who paid you cash at the center is enrolled manually, with no commission.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • The plans and features pages do not mention how students pay or in which currency.
  • Demo checkout page: Visa, Mastercard and Mada cards, or Zain Cash, CliQ or PayPal.
  • Course prices on the demo platforms are in Jordanian dinars.
  • Fawry and Egyptian wallets such as Vodafone Cash are not mentioned on any page.
  • How student payments reach you, and when you can withdraw them: not stated.

That checkout page is part of a demo platform, and Adah states on it that the content and prices are illustrative examples. So it shows you what checkout looks like, not a promise of specific payment methods.

If your students are in Egypt, ask Adah two questions before you subscribe: can a student pay in EGP with Fawry or Vodafone Cash? And how will the money reach you, and into which account?

On Snatr, the money goes into your wallet and becomes available to withdraw after a safety period, currently 7 days. You do not need to open an account with any payment company.

Adah pricing in Egyptian pounds: more or less expensive than Snatr?

More expensive. Adah's lowest plan is 29.99 Jordanian dinars, about 2,222 EGP, for 50 students and 5 courses. On Snatr it is 999 EGP for 100 students, with unlimited courses.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB, and each extra student costs 15 EGP.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB, and each extra student costs 10 EGP.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, each extra student costs 7 EGP, plus live classes and a custom domain.
  • Each extra student is charged once when they enroll, and sign-ups never stop.
  • You receive your full price, and the online payment fee is added on top of your price, paid by the student.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • Beginner: 29.99 JOD (2,222 EGP) a month, 50 students, 5 courses, 200 GB.
  • Professional: 49.99 JOD (3,704 EGP), 500 students, unlimited courses, 500 GB.
  • Enterprise: by quote, for more students and instructors.
  • One instructor on Beginner and Professional, and it says "no hidden fees, cancel anytime".
  • Commission, payment fees and the annual price are not published.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

Snatr leaves you about 2,700 EGP more a month

Exchange rate: 1 Jordanian dinar = 74.0960 EGP, the Central Bank of Egypt selling rate on 7 October 2026. We used Adah's Professional plan because Beginner stops at 50 students. The difference is 2,705 EGP a month, about 32,460 EGP a year. The calculation assumes you can receive your students' money from Egypt on Adah, which its website does not state.

Adah says "up to 50 students" and "up to 500 students", and does not say what happens if you have more. On Snatr, sign-ups never stop, and each extra student is charged once at your plan's extra-student price.

With 400 students paying 300 EGP, Snatr's Pro plan leaves you 117,001 EGP a month. Adah's Professional plan leaves you 116,296 EGP before payment fees, if you have a way to receive your students' money.

If you have 500 students, Snatr's Pro plan is 2,999 EGP a month. The 100 extra students are charged once at 7 EGP each, which is 700 EGP. On Adah, Professional is 3,704 EGP every month.

Adah's subscription is in dinars, so you will pay it with a card that accepts foreign-currency payments, and your bank may charge currency conversion fees. See Snatr's pricing in detail.

Video protection on Adah: what do "basic" and "advanced" mean?

The plans page does not explain them. Adah's first plan lists "basic video protection" and the second "advanced", with no details. Snatr encrypts video, and well-known download tools fail to download it, which has been measured.

In Snatr

  • Uploaded video is encrypted, and its key goes to the browser's decryption module, not to the page.
  • Download extensions, "paste your link" sites and yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A moving watermark on the video, showing the student's name.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
  • Storage is 50, 150 or 300 GB depending on the plan, and extra storage is charged to you.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • "Basic video protection" on Beginner, and "advanced" on Professional.
  • The difference between them is not written, and there is no mention of encryption or a watermark.
  • More storage: 200 GB on Beginner and 500 GB on Professional.
  • A monthly viewing limit: 1.5 TB on Beginner and 3 TB on Professional.
  • Unlimited videos on both plans.

The measurement on Snatr: without the key, the file comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key, it comes out intact at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original. Adah has not published any measurement like this.

Screen recording is not blocked on Snatr, and neither is a phone filming the screen. The watermark deters it, because the student's name shows on the recording. On iPhone and iPad the video plays normally, but the protection there is somewhat weaker against a technically skilled person.

Snatr's storage is 50, 150 and 300 GB depending on the plan, and every video uploaded to it is encrypted with the same measured protection. If you have many long videos, the Pro plan has 300 GB and comes with live classes.

Adah's viewing limit means the amount of video your students can watch in a month. 1.5 TB is about 1,500 GB, and Adah does not say what happens if you go over it. Learn about video protection on Snatr.

Does Adah (adah.io) have live classes, exams and certificates?

Live classes are not mentioned on Adah at all. Quizzes are mentioned without details, and certificates are available. Snatr has live classes inside your platform on the Pro plan, self-grading exams, and completion certificates too.

In Snatr

  • Live classes inside your platform, with no Zoom or Google Meet.
  • Chat and hand raising, and you can give a student the mic to speak in front of classmates.
  • Class attendance is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Self-grading exams and homework, and the grade shows to the student and the parent.
  • Printable completion certificates, with a QR code that opens a verification page on your site.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • Live classes or a Zoom integration: not mentioned on any page.
  • "Track each student's progress in lessons and quizzes", with no explanation of question types or grading.
  • Completion certificates under your platform's name when a student finishes the course.
  • An AI assistant for the student inside the lesson, announced as "coming soon" and not yet available.

If you only sell recorded courses and students want a certificate at the end, both platforms cover that. If you run live classes for groups every week, Snatr's Pro plan replaces Zoom for you.

Class recording on Snatr is a feature that gets switched on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the student group. Live streams are not encrypted like uploaded video: they carry a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording works.

Run a tutoring center? Does Adah work for attendance, groups and parents?

Nothing says it does. Adah talks about tracking student attendance in courses, and its features list has no branches, no scheduled groups, no QR card and no parent portal. Snatr was built for centers from the start.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with schedules and seat limits, and an attendance sheet for every class.
  • Attendance with a printed QR card for each student, or manually.
  • A parent portal on your website, where parents see their child's attendance and grades.
  • Assistants and front-desk staff with their own accounts, and 4 ready-made permission presets.
  • The center and your online courses in the same account.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • "Track their attendance and participation in every course", meaning inside courses.
  • Branches, scheduled groups and a center attendance sheet: not mentioned.
  • "Parent follow-up" is only written in the description of a demo platform, and not explained.
  • One instructor on both plans, and assistant accounts are not mentioned.

Snatr's QR card carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But the card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so it is card attendance, not a fingerprint.

The four assistant presets are front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed that same moment.

In short: If you run a center and choose Adah, you will still need a notebook or another program for attendance and parents. See center management on Snatr.

The branch attendance screen in the Snatr dashboard. It has branch, group and class selectors, an attendance sheet with student names, and a button to scan a student's QR card. Next to each name is its status: present, late, absent or excused

A platform under your name: domain, design and app on Adah and Snatr

Both give you a platform under your name, logo and colors. A custom domain is listed on both of Adah's plans, while on Snatr it is on the Pro plan only, and the Snatr team buys and connects it. As for a mobile app: Snatr does not have one, and Adah does not mention one.

In Snatr

  • A site in your name from day one.
  • A custom domain on the Pro plan only, and not available during the trial.
  • The Snatr team buys and connects the domain, and the first year is free with the plan.
  • 30 ready-made designs you edit with no code, and your first two designs are free.
  • No mobile app under your name: students open your platform in the phone's browser.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • You choose your platform's name, colors and logo.
  • A "custom domain" on Beginner and Professional, and who buys and connects it is not stated.
  • A platform "with no reference to Adah at all" is requested by contacting them, as a custom solution.
  • Two demo platforms with different identities that you can browse as a student before subscribing.
  • The number of ready-made designs and a mobile app are not mentioned.

Adah offers a platform "with no reference to Adah at all" as a custom solution, by contacting them. So if it matters to you that Adah's name never appears on your platform, ask them what the regular plan looks like.

On Snatr, once the custom domain is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically and keeps your Google ranking. Each of the 30 designs has a full preview. Browse Snatr's designs.

How do you start on Adah and on Snatr? Sign-up, trial and Arabic support

On Snatr, you open your account yourself and try it free for 7 days. On Adah, the "Start now" button opens a contact form and their team replies within 24 hours, and a free trial is not mentioned. Both are in Arabic.

In Snatr

  • You open your account yourself, with a 7-day free trial.
  • Your website is closed when the trial ends without a subscription.
  • An Arabic right-to-left dashboard, with English too.
  • Support in Arabic on WhatsApp and by email at support@snatr.com.
  • Plan changes go through support, not the dashboard.

In ⁨Adah⁩

  • "Start now" on the plans leads to a "request a quote" form.
  • A reply within 24 hours, according to the Enterprise page.
  • A free trial is not mentioned, and it says "cancel anytime".
  • The website and demo platforms are in Arabic, right to left.
  • Contact on WhatsApp, and "dedicated, priority support" on Enterprise only.

Adah's website had no published terms of use or refund policy as of 7 October 2026. So ask them about cancellation and refunds before you pay.

If you teach students at language schools, you can show your Snatr website in English, or in Arabic and English together.

How to move from Adah to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you cancel anything

Open your account on Snatr and try it free for 7 days. Keep your Adah subscription running until you are sure everything has moved. Note that your Snatr website is closed when the trial ends without a subscription.

  2. 2

Get the original copies of your videos ready

Exporting content from Adah is not mentioned on its website, so rely on the original copies on your computer. Upload the videos to Snatr so they get encrypted, and if you have free lessons on YouTube, you can add their links.

  3. 3

Create your courses and price them in EGP

Create each course with its lessons and exams, and set its price in EGP. Remember that Snatr's payment fee is added on top of your price, paid by the student, so choose the price you want the student to see.

  4. 4

Enroll your current students without them paying again

A student who already paid you can be enrolled in the course manually from the dashboard, with no commission. Then send them your new platform link on WhatsApp.

  5. 5

If you run a center, set up branches and cards

Create your branches and groups with their schedules, and print a QR card for each student. Open an account for each assistant with the permissions you choose, and send each parent their login details for the portal.

  6. 6

    Cancel your Adah subscription

Once your students start signing in to your new platform, cancel your Adah subscription. Their plans page says "cancel anytime". If you had connected a custom domain there, ask Snatr support before you cancel.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • Storage is set by the plan: the Starter plan has 50 GB, Basic 150 and Pro 300. Extra storage on Snatr is charged to you.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan only: and not available during the trial.
  • No app under your name: there is no mobile app on Google Play or the App Store, and your platform works in the phone's browser.
  • No AI: no student assistant and no AI-generated questions.
  • One teacher per platform: you cannot have several teachers with split earnings on the same platform.
  • Screen recording is not blocked: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark puts the student's name on the recording, which deters, but it is not proof.
  • Built for EGP: online payment on Snatr is in Egyptian pounds only. A student in Jordan can pay with an international card and their bank converts the amount, but there is no charging in dinars and no CliQ or Zain Cash.
  • No messages to parents: no WhatsApp or SMS is sent automatically. Parents follow attendance and grades from their portal on your website.

Frequently asked questions

Snatr or Adah: which is better for a teacher in Egypt?

Snatr suits a teacher in Egypt better. Students pay in EGP with Fawry, mobile wallets and cards, you receive your full price, and you withdraw to Vodafone Cash or InstaPay. It also has live classes, attendance with a QR card, a parent portal and encrypted video. Adah's prices are in Jordanian dinars, and payment methods from Egypt are not mentioned on its website.

Adah or Snatr for a teacher?

If you teach in Egypt, Snatr is the one built for you. Students pay in EGP with Fawry and wallets, and it has the center with its groups, attendance and parent portal, plus live classes on the Pro plan. Adah is priced in Jordanian dinars, is built mainly for the Jordanian market, and has large video storage.

Is Adah a Jordanian platform?

Adah's website does not say which country the company is registered in. But its prices are in Jordanian dinars, its math demo platform has courses for Tawjihi, and its demo checkout page has CliQ and Zain Cash. So it is built mainly for the Jordanian market.

Does Adah take a commission on my sales?

Adah's website does not mention a commission or payment fees, only "no hidden fees". So ask them before you subscribe. On Snatr, nothing is deducted from your price, and the online payment fee is added on top of your price, paid by the student. A student who pays you cash is enrolled manually, with no commission.

Is there a free trial on Adah and on Snatr?

Snatr has a 7-day free trial, you open your account yourself, and your website is closed when the trial ends without a subscription. Adah does not mention a free trial, and its "Start now" button opens a contact form, with their team replying within 24 hours.

Are the demo platforms on Adah's website real?

They are demo platforms you browse as if you were a student, so you can see what your platform would look like before subscribing. Adah states on every page of them that it is an "illustrative example", and that the content, design and prices are examples. It is a good way to see the product. On Snatr, you can see a full preview of each of the 30 designs.

Does Adah have a mobile app?

Adah's website does not mention a mobile app for students. Snatr has no app under your name on Google Play or the App Store, and students open your platform in the phone's browser.

If my students exceed the plan, do sign-ups stop?

On Snatr, no. New students sign up as usual, and each extra student is charged once at your plan's extra-student price: 15 EGP on Starter, 10 on Basic and 7 on Pro. Adah says "up to 50 students" and "up to 500 students", and does not say what happens after that.

Can I use Adah and Snatr together?

You can, but you will pay two subscriptions, and your students may get confused between two links. If you have students in Jordan paying in dinars and students in Egypt, you could keep the two businesses separate. But if they are all in Egypt, one platform is easier for you and for them.
