Snatr vs Teachers EG: A Comparison for Teachers and Centers in Egypt (2026)

If you are a teacher or run a center in Egypt, Snatr is the better choice because it covers all of your work. It has auto-graded exams, QR card attendance, a parent portal and assistants with permissions, and students pay by Fawry, wallets or card. Teachers EG offers a site and an app in your name from 600 EGP with unlimited students, and its pages do not mention exams, parents or Fawry.

What is the Teachers EG platform, and who is it built for?

Teachers EG is a platform that builds a teacher a website and a mobile app in their own name, to sell courses and run live classes from. Its Arabic name on its site is "Moallemy Masr" (Teachers of Egypt), its site title reads "the teachers' platform", and its official site is teachers-eg.com.

It has only two plans, and the difference between them is the app. "Website only" is 600 EGP a month, and "Website + mobile app" is 850 EGP. Both plans have unlimited students and storage, with no commission on your sales, according to their pricing page in October 2026.

According to its About page, the platform started in Egypt in 2024 and is now present in 5 countries. It says it has more than 150 teachers and academies, and more than 120,000 students. These are figures published on their site, not ours.

Teachers EG's strength is its fixed price and the app, and the fact that their team sets up the whole platform for you. It also has selling tools that Snatr does not: a store for books and study notes, a posts page where you talk with your students, and a free subscription pause during holidays.

What is not written on their site is the detail of an Egyptian teacher's daily work. Nothing about exams, the attendance card, parents, assistant accounts, Fawry, or how students' money reaches you. Their whole site is a few short pages, so ask them about these points before you subscribe.

Snatr, at snatr.com, also builds you a platform in your own name, but it was made for the teacher and the tutoring center in Egypt from the start. Online teaching, the center and parents are in one account. If you are comparing other platforms too, see all Snatr comparisons.

How much does Teachers EG cost? And what do you get for your money on each platform?

Teachers EG costs 600 EGP a month for the site and 850 with the app, with unlimited students. Snatr starts at 999 EGP for 100 students, and includes exams, QR attendance, a parent portal and Fawry payments, which they do not mention.

In Snatr

  • Starter: 999 EGP a month, 100 students, 50 GB, and each extra student is 15 EGP.
  • Basic: 1,999 EGP, 200 students, 150 GB, and each extra student is 10 EGP.
  • Pro: 2,999 EGP, 400 students, 300 GB, each extra student is 7 EGP, plus live classes and a custom domain.
  • No commission on your sales, and enrollment does not stop if your students exceed the plan.
  • No temporary pause of the subscription during holidays.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • Website only: 600 EGP a month, or 480 if you pay a year in advance.
  • Website and app: 850 EGP a month, or 680 if you pay a year in advance.
  • Unlimited students and storage on both plans, with no setup fee.
  • No commission on your sales. Only a fixed subscription, according to their FAQ.
  • A temporary pause during holidays with no fee, and your data stays saved.

Example: a teacher with 100 students paying 300 EGP a month

The difference is 399 EGP a month, and on Snatr it buys exams, QR attendance and a parent portal

What reaches you each month29,001 EGP29,400 EGP minus any payment fees

Prices are from the Snatr and Teachers EG pages in October 2026. If you want the app on Teachers EG, the subscription is 850 EGP and what reaches you is 29,150 EGP, only 149 EGP more than Snatr. On Snatr the student pays the platform fee on top of the 300 EGP, so if you want them to pay exactly 300, set your price a little lower.

Each student pays 300 EGPSnatrTeachers EG (website only)Teachers EG (website and app)

400 students2,999 EGP (Pro), you receive 117,001600 EGP, you receive 119,400850 EGP, you receive 119,150

These prices are from the Teachers EG pricing page in October 2026. The annual price is the monthly price minus 20%, paid for the whole year: 5,760 EGP for the website and 8,160 with the app. Snatr Starter is 11,988 EGP a year. The length and conditions of the holiday pause are not written on their site.

The Teachers EG pages do not say who pays the payment gateway fees, or how much. The calculation below assumes no payment fees are deducted from you on their side, which is the best case for them.

Teachers EG has unlimited students, so with 400 students its subscription is still 600 or 850 EGP, while Snatr Pro is 2,999 EGP. Pro gives you live classes inside your platform and a custom domain, which the Snatr team connects with the first year free. The table below shows what reaches you in each case.

On Snatr, the subscription buys features that are written down and explained. It has auto-graded exams, QR card attendance, branches and groups, a parent portal and assistants with permissions. Students pay by Fawry, and you withdraw to Vodafone Cash. It is all in one platform, with no second program for the center. See Snatr's prices in detail.

In short: If you run a center or rely on exams and parents, the subscription difference on Snatr buys you all of that inside one platform, written down and explained. The Teachers EG figures in the table are before any payment fees.

Does Teachers EG accept payment in EGP, Fawry and mobile wallets?

The Teachers EG features page mentions Visa, Apple Pay and all mobile wallets, and does not mention Fawry. It also does not say who receives students' money, or how you withdraw it. On Snatr both are written down.

In Snatr

  • The student pays in EGP by card, Visa and Mastercard.
  • Fawry: the student gets a code and pays it at any Fawry outlet within 24 hours.
  • Mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash.
  • The money goes into your Snatr wallet and becomes available to withdraw after 7 days, currently.
  • You withdraw to Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or a bank, and the minimum withdrawal is currently 100 EGP.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • Visa, Apple Pay and all mobile wallets, according to the features page.
  • Fawry is not mentioned on any of their pages.
  • The platform subscription itself is in EGP, and the currency students pay in is not stated explicitly.
  • Who receives students' money, how it reaches you, and when: not stated.
  • Payment gateway fees are not stated. What is written is that there is no commission on your sales.

If many of your students pay with a Fawry code, ask Teachers EG before you subscribe: is Fawry available? Whose account does the money land in? How do you withdraw it, and after how long?

On Snatr you do not need to open an account with a payment company. A student who pays you cash at the center is enrolled manually in the course with no commission at all.

Apple Pay is mentioned by Teachers EG, and it is a convenient method for iPhone students. On Snatr, the stated methods are card, Fawry and wallets, and an iPhone student pays with them like any other student.

Video protection on Teachers EG and Snatr: which one prevents downloads?

Snatr encrypts the video you upload, and it measured the protection and published the numbers. Teachers EG says its system prevents downloading, copying and screen recording, with a watermark carrying the student's name, without explaining how.

In Snatr

  • The video is encrypted, and the key to open it goes to the decryption module in the browser, not to the page.
  • Download extensions, paste-your-link sites and yt-dlp cannot download it.
  • A watermark that moves across the video, carrying the student's name.
  • A student is signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
  • Screen recording is not prevented, and the watermark only deters.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • "An original system that prevents downloading or copying your lectures in any way", according to the features page.
  • Watermarks tied to each student's identity, and tracing of any leak.
  • "A protected player that prevents external recording", with no details on devices.
  • Encryption of the file itself is not mentioned, and neither is any measurement of the protection.
  • Unlimited video space on both plans.

At Snatr we measured the protection: the file without the key comes out as noise, with a similarity to the original of only 10.6 dB. With the key it comes out intact at 59.9 dB, and the higher the number, the closer the picture is to the original. Teachers EG has not published any measurement like this.

Blocking screen recording is an important point. Snatr does not block it, nor a phone filming the screen. Teachers EG says its player blocks it, and it is not written whether that is on the app only or in the browser too. Ask them, and test it yourself on the demo account before you rely on it.

On iPhone and iPad, video on Snatr plays normally, and ready-made download tools fail on them as well. But the protection there is a little weaker against a technically skilled person. This protection covers uploaded video, while a YouTube link in a lesson stays an ordinary YouTube video. Learn the details of video protection on Snatr.

Live classes and exams: what does Teachers EG have, and what does Snatr have?

Both platforms have live classes, and on Snatr they are on the Pro plan. The bigger difference is exams: Snatr has self-grading exams and homework with the grade reaching the parent, and Teachers EG does not mention exams among its 12 features.

In Snatr

  • Live streaming inside your platform, without Zoom or Google Meet.
  • Chat and raise hand, and you can give a student the mic.
  • Class attendance is recorded automatically: present or late.
  • Exams and homework grade themselves, and the grade is visible to the student and the parent.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • "Live streaming and recorded lectures" on both plans, with detailed student tracking.
  • The home page describes the live stream as "an interactive class with your students".
  • Whether the stream is inside the platform or on Zoom, and its tools: not stated.
  • Exams and homework are not mentioned on any of their pages.
  • Reports on sales, completion and engagement in the dashboard.

"Not stated" does not mean "not available". But exams are essential for a middle and secondary school teacher, so ask Teachers EG about them, and see them on the demo account before you subscribe.

On Snatr, class recording is a feature that gets switched on, and when it is on, the recording is added to the students' group. The live stream is not encrypted like uploaded video: it carries a watermark and a temporary link, and screen recording still works.

Assistants on Snatr can act as class moderators: the mics, the chat and who gets in.

Teachers EG or Snatr if you run a center and deal with parents?

Snatr, because the center has a complete system there: branches and groups, QR card attendance, a parent portal and assistants with permissions. Teachers EG mentions "booking rooms for in-person classes and tracking mandatory attendance" in a single line, without details.

In Snatr

  • Branches and groups with schedules and a number of seats, and an attendance register for each session.
  • Attendance with a printed QR card for each student, or by hand.
  • A parent portal on your site, where the parent sees their child's attendance and grades.
  • Accounts for assistants and front desk staff, and 4 ready-made permission presets.
  • The center and online courses in the same account.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • A "center booking and management" feature: booking rooms for in-person classes and tracking mandatory attendance.
  • How attendance is recorded is not stated, and neither is a QR card.
  • Parents are not mentioned on any page.
  • Accounts for assistants and front desk staff are not mentioned.
  • Branches and scheduled groups are not mentioned.

A QR card on Snatr carries a signed code that cannot be forged, and the assistant scans it at the door. But the card can be photographed and sent to someone else, so this is attendance by card, not by fingerprint.

The four assistant presets are front desk, branch supervisor, academic assistant and full access. If you remove a permission from an assistant, it is removed at that very moment.

A parent on Snatr follows along from their portal on your site. No WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent to them automatically.

In short: If the center is a big part of your work, ask Teachers EG to show you the attendance and parent tracking screens before you subscribe. See center management on Snatr.

A session attendance register at a center on Snatr: choosing the branch, group and session, a button to scan a student's QR card, each student's status as present, late, absent or excused, the time it was recorded, and an attendance rate of 63%
A session attendance register at a branch on Snatr. The data shown is an illustrative example.

A site in your name, a custom domain and an app: Teachers EG or Snatr?

Both give you a site in your name. Snatr has 30 ready designs, and on Pro the Snatr team buys and connects your domain, with the first year free. Teachers EG offers an Android and iOS app in your name at 850 EGP, and a custom domain for an extra yearly fee it does not publish.

In Snatr

  • A site in your name from day one.
  • The custom domain is on the Pro plan only, and not available during the trial.
  • The Snatr team buys and connects the domain, and the first year is free with the plan.
  • 30 ready-made designs, where you edit their text, colors and images without code.
  • No mobile app in your name. The student opens your platform in the phone's browser.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • An Android and iOS app in your academy's name on the stores, on the 850 EGP plan.
  • A free subdomain in your name, and a custom domain for an extra annual fee that is not published.
  • If you already have a domain, they connect it for you completely.
  • The site carries your logo and colors, and the number of designs is not stated.
  • They say their branding does not appear on your platform.

If your students are used to apps, Teachers EG has one on the 850 EGP plan, so ask them how long after you subscribe it reaches the stores. Your Snatr platform opens in the phone's browser, with nothing for the student to install.

On Snatr, the first two designs are free and the rest are bought. When the custom domain is connected, the old link redirects to it automatically, and your Google ranking moves with it. Browse Snatr's designs before you choose.

A book store, posts and coupons: what does each platform have?

Teachers EG has a store for books and study notes next to the courses, and a posts page to talk with your students, and Snatr has neither. Coupons and discount codes are on both platforms.

In Snatr

  • Discount coupons as a percentage or a fixed amount, but no store for books and study notes.
  • No posts page or student community.
  • No marketplace that brings you students. You share your platform's link with your students yourself.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • Coupons and discount codes for campaigns and offers.
  • A store for your books and study notes next to your courses on the same platform.
  • "Interactive posts": a page for talking with your students, similar to social media.
  • Bringing in students, marketing and filming your lessons are up to you, according to their FAQ.

If you sell notes or books with your lessons, Teachers EG has a store beside the courses. If you run offers at the start of term, both platforms have coupons. On Snatr you can apply a coupon to the whole site, or to a course, a group or a stage, and set how many times it can be used.

Neither platform brings you students. Teachers EG says so openly in its FAQ, and on Snatr marketing is also up to you.

How do you get started with Teachers EG and with Snatr, and what is support like?

With Teachers EG you contact them, and their team sets up your platform in 24 to 48 hours. With Snatr you sign up yourself on the website and try your platform free for 7 days before you pay.

In Snatr

  • You sign up yourself, choose a design and start a free 7-day trial.
  • Your site closes if the trial ends without a subscription.
  • An Arabic right-to-left dashboard, with English as well.
  • Your site can be in Arabic, English or both.
  • Support in Arabic on WhatsApp and by email at support@snatr.com.

In ⁨Teachers EG⁩

  • You contact them, and their team sets up the whole platform with your identity in 24 to 48 hours.
  • Tutorial videos for every step inside the dashboard after activation.
  • A demo account as teacher and as student on the home page.
  • Support on WhatsApp and Facebook, which they say is 24-hour and free.
  • They say your students' data is yours, and you can export it at any time.

If you do not want to set anything up yourself, the Teachers EG team does it for you in 24 to 48 hours. On Snatr you see your platform working today, and try it with your students for 7 days before you pay.

The language of the teacher's platform on Teachers EG is not stated, but their own site is in Arabic and English.

Before you subscribe to Teachers EG, ask them these questions, because the answers are not on their site:

  • Is Fawry available to students? Whose account does the money land in, and how do you withdraw it?
  • Are there exams and homework that grade themselves?
  • How does a parent follow their child?
  • How is attendance at the center recorded? Are there accounts for assistants?
  • Does screen recording blocking work in the browser, or only in the app?
  • How much is the custom domain fee per year? And what is the longest holiday pause?

How to move from Teachers EG to Snatr

  1. 1

Try Snatr before you stop anything

Open your Snatr account and try your platform free for 7 days. Keep your Teachers EG subscription running until you are sure everything has moved. Note that your Snatr site closes when the trial ends without a subscription.

  2. 2

Ask Teachers EG for your students' data

Teachers EG says in its FAQ that your students' and sales data is yours, and that you can export it at any time. Ask for it in a file, so you know who paid for what.

  3. 3

Prepare copies of your videos and files

Gather the original copies of your lesson videos and study note files on your computer. Upload the videos to Snatr so they get encrypted, and if you have free lessons on YouTube you can add their link instead of uploading them.

  4. 4

Create your courses and exams and set their prices in EGP

Create each course with its lessons and exams, and set its price in EGP. Remember that the online payment fee is added for the student on top of your price, so choose the price you want the student to see.

  5. 5

Enroll your current students without them paying again

Student accounts and passwords do not move between platforms on their own. A student who already paid you, enroll them manually in the course from the dashboard with no commission. Then send them your new platform link, and they will open it in the browser.

  6. 6

If you run a center, set up branches and cards

Create your branches and groups with their schedules, and print a QR card for each student. Open an account for each assistant with the permissions you choose, and send each parent their sign-in details for their portal.

  7. 7

    Stop your Teachers EG subscription

Once your students start signing in on your new platform, stop your Teachers EG subscription. If you have a custom domain connected with them, ask Snatr support before you cancel, because Snatr's custom domain is on the Pro plan only.

Snatr's limits, before you sign up

We list them up front so you decide knowing everything.

  • No app in your name: your platform opens in the phone's browser, and there is no app on Google Play or the App Store.
  • Students and storage depend on the plan: Starter has 100 students and 50 GB. Each extra student is charged to you once, and enrolment never stops.
  • No pausing the subscription: if you stop paying during the holidays, your platform closes until you pay.
  • No book store: and no posts page or student community.
  • Screen recording is not prevented: nor is a phone filming the screen. The watermark puts the student's name on the recording, which deters, but it is not proof.
  • Apple devices: on iPhone, iPad and Safari the video plays normally, but its protection is weaker against a technically skilled person.
  • Custom domain on the Pro plan only: and not available during the trial. Plan changes go through support.
  • No messages to parents: no WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent automatically. The parent follows along from their portal on your site.
  • No marketplace that brings students: marketing is up to you, exactly as on Teachers EG.

Frequently asked questions

Is Teachers EG an Egyptian platform, and what is its official site?

Teachers EG is a platform for teachers whose Arabic name is "Moallemy Masr" (Teachers of Egypt), and its official site is teachers-eg.com. According to its About page, it started in Egypt in 2024, is now present in 5 countries, and its prices are in Egyptian pounds. Snatr is also a platform for the Egyptian teacher, at snatr.com.

Is there a free trial on Teachers EG and on Snatr?

Teachers EG offers a demo teacher account on its home page, and a code to sign up as a student in the app. The length of a free trial on your own platform is not stated. Snatr has a free 7-day trial on your own platform, and your site closes if it ends without a subscription.

Can I pause the platform subscription during the summer holiday?

On Teachers EG, yes. They say you can pause your subscription temporarily with no fee, and your data stays saved until you come back. The length and conditions of the pause are not written. Snatr has no temporary subscription pause.

Who takes a commission on my sales: Teachers EG or Snatr?

Neither takes anything from your price. Teachers EG says it is a fixed subscription with no commission, and its payment gateway fees are not stated. On Snatr your full price reaches you, and the online payment fee is added for the student on top of your price. A student who pays cash is enrolled manually with no commission.

If my students exceed my Snatr plan, will enrollment stop?

No, enrollment does not stop. Each extra student is charged once at your plan's extra student price: 15 EGP on Starter, 10 on Basic, and 7 on Pro. On Teachers EG, students are unlimited on both plans.

What is the difference between Snatr and Teachers EG, in short?

Snatr is better for a teacher or a center in Egypt, because it covers the whole job in one platform. It has auto-graded exams, QR card attendance, a parent portal and assistants with permissions. Students pay by Fawry, wallets or card, and video is encrypted with a published measurement. Teachers EG costs 600 EGP for the site and 850 with the app, with unlimited students and storage, and has a book store and a holiday pause.

How can I verify what Teachers EG says about video protection before I subscribe?

Ask them for a demo account, and try screen recording yourself on a phone and on a computer. Teachers EG says its player prevents downloading and recording, but it has not published how, or any measurement. Snatr has published its encryption measurement, and says openly that screen recording is not prevented.

Can I use Teachers EG and Snatr together?

Yes, but you will pay two subscriptions, and your students will get confused between two links and two accounts. Snatr alone covers online teaching, exams, the center and parents, so one platform is easier for you and for them.
